One thing really interesting that zeoagito pointed out about the leaked Rainbow Gotchard is that the door of darkness is based off a real life thing, which has a symbol depicting both an upright and upside down triangle. This real life door of darkness has an opposite end with another door that has been buried and lost to time Now when we see the door of darkness in Gotchard, the symbol is bares smack dab in the middle is an upside down triangle, and in the leaked Rainbow Gotchard design, what do we see in the middle of the chest? An upright triangle. Hotarou could very well get a power up relating to some counterpart to the door of darkness that hasn’t been spoken of before, perhaps a door of light?

Gotchard has done a decent job of keeping all the power up toys relevant in the show. The ExGotchalibur still gets used as a weapon and the Gotchaignitor is continually used as the Valvaradriver. I’m interested to see if they find a way to keep Tenliner and Crosshopper around once Nijigon comes into play.

I think nichigon would just be the item itself rather than two cards, these two cards could very well be hopper one and steamliner evolving into nichigon cards much like how all the level 10 chemies lend their power to hopper one. It would be poetic too to have all three chemies to create gotchard's final form, three points to create the triangle symbol of the alchemist society.

When I saw his final form called rainbow gotchard, from Yu-Gi-Oh GX where Jaden's favorite monster NEOS had combined with the rainbow dragon and he calls himself rainbow Neos.

My 2 theories are this: - Hopper1 will evolve further pass Crosshopper to become the 101 chemy - The gate of darkness revealed to be filled with light. You know, “Kingdom Hearts is light” route that reveals the 101 chemy

If hotarou’s dad is hiding nijigon I kind of hope that he transforms into rainbow gotchard somehow when he comes back to the story. Also maybe the whole two card thing will be because nijigon becomes too powerful for one card to contain due to some reason, like what I said about rainbow gotchard dad ending with him loosing and so hotarou has to use alchemy for the fifth time along with the other chemies in order to heal it or maybe fuse hotarou’s dad with nijigon to save both of them

While much details of Nijigon's reveal is still heavily under wrap/under development, the very least I'm patiently waiting for the Hotarou and the other cast to at least question about it. Maybe it's not even on record like the other 100 Chemies. Here's my thoughts and opinions about your theories. When you mention how weird the transition from a variant of SteamHopper gets "abandoned" for Rainbow Gotchard, it reminds me of Kamen Rider Build of how we went from a variant of RabbitTank to Genius form, although granted it technically wasn't "Kiryu Sento" that created the Genius Fullbottle at the time. Perhaps someone is still trying to figure out a way to safely contain Nijigon's power for their use? I can't really say if all the previous 100 Chemies are required to even summon Nijigon at this point, I feel it may be least likely since all 10 of the Level 10 Chemies are gathered and no longer (that much) of a major plot point. Not Greyon thinks it's necessary to collect all 100 of them. However, since Dragonalos and Gaiard are canonically the oldest amongst the Chemies, I'm pretty sire the cast would eventually turn to them for any hints in regards to Nijigon's whereabouts. While I agree that Hotarou's father is key figure and may be connected to both the academy and Rinne's father, we still know too little about him. It would've help it early on that we Hotarou carry some memento of his father, but that's not the case. But now that I thought about it, how much does Hotarou even remember of his father since he was mindwiped as a child? Hotarou being part Chemy may be a farcry idea, but not completely unreasonable in series themed around Alchemy. Homunculi and half-humans aren't unfamiliar sights in the World(s) of Kamen Rider, even those doning rider titles such as Kamen Rider W's Phillip/Raito, Kamen Rider Wizard's Wiseman/Koyomi, and Kamen Rider Build's Banjou Ryuga to name a few. The big question is there enough breadcrumbs to truly point to this direction? Hard to say at this point. My last thought for this Nijigon mystery is that did it REALLY leave the Oroboros Realm, or did we assume so soley because everyone else did?

I respectfully disagree with hotaro being a chemy. If so, it would make the premise of him befriending other chemies sound cheap.

However we got it i just hope rainbow gotchard won't dissapoint considering how cool platinum already is

The final chemy is totally the ouroboros or the realm Also nijigon is probably the daybreak version and normal one as we know daybreak doesn’t know nijigon

My theory is Hotaro is going to create it, just like the gotchard igniter. I feel like it's going to be like genius form from build, where rabbit and tank is still going to be around, but there's also the genius bottle that can dirrectly access all the other bottle powers.

Not *every* powerup Gotchard has is based on Steamhopper. Super Gotchard is based on the Level 10 Chemies, and Fire Gotchard upgrades any of Gotchard's forms, as demonstrated with Apparebushido.

Super Gotchard uses Steamhopper as an undersuit. Fire Gotchard’s main form is with Steamhopper.

My theory was just that Houtaro and his Dad's side of the family are actually the Daybreak Alchemist's descendants, with their special connection to chemies being something they inheirited.

Oh my gotcha you were right on the money though it seems like nichigon is an egg

I think it’s a kurama situation , nigigon is sealed inside hotara similar to how the monsters of the week were being made earlier in the show

I do hope we get an arc in the show where Nijigon is the hardest to get and have a couple episodes of Houtaro and the others encounter it multiple times before they finally get Nijigon.

I think that theory 2 and 3 would work in hand. By that I mean Hotaro's father apears and then he helps him awaken the chemy inside of him with the relationship he has with the chemies to make nijigon and rainbow gotchard. Sounds absurd but kinda makes sense.

Honestly not bad theories but I feel what it would end up being like a Ghost situation having all 100 chemies from the 10 classes of chemies arranged in a way it opens a door to the 101st chemy and he/she won’t accept hotaro for some unexplainable reason to go on a journey to prove himself as an alchemist and have a resolve that can match with the 100 chemies before meeting with 101 Nijigon. Theory 2 Hotaro and Rinne are the two halves of Nijigon to become the final form. Probably going on a journey to uncover a extremely forbidden use of alchemy that damages their real bodies beyond repair maybe from the door of darkness and inside the real light ignites them to become the lost 101st chemy to become the Ultimate Gotchard. Yeah his dad could be the keeper of the 101st in another separate dimensional space connected to the ourboros realm maybe flipping the infinite dragon loop the other way accesses a gate to find 101? Just some thoughts

Dont forget there is steamhopper x with out cross hopper and tenliner driver upgrades, you just get the cards of tenliner and crosshopper in use only

I want to add Hotaro is chemy theory. what if niijigan/rainbow gotchard is actually the combination of Hotaro and daybreak gotchard. that's why niijigan was blue and orange because it is their combination of primary colour

Nijigon being blue and Orange is more likely just using the base Steamhopper colour scheme rather than a possible Daybreak reference. Daybreak Gotchard is just an inversion of Gotchard’s colour scheme.

One of the Ride Chemy Trading Cards that'll come out as part of PHASE: 04 depicts what is clearly a Nijigon egg. It's currently unknown how this egg will be obtained in the show, but I just know it'll hatch at some point afterward, at which point Gotchard will obtain his final form.

Im going with the third theory. It could be possible that Mrs Ichinose can't have children, so Houtaro was created for that reason. But! Fuga wiped lil Houtaro's memories, so it could be possible that his real name is Nichigon, we never heard Fuga call him by name before he erased his memories. Nichigon could be inside of Houtaro, that's a pretty good theory.

How can he create something that’s already known to exist? There being 101 chemies is a fact that’s been pretty well established from the beginning.

My theory is that the final form will involves the Hopper1to1 card and the Tonakiliner card (the currently unrreleased ones) in some extend, even though each cant be used whit each other as Hopper 1to1 can only be used whit Hopper 1 and Tonakiliner can only be used whit Steamliner, i believe that they will be used together whit some sort of adaptor Or maybe a diferent transformation device. Honestly i dont think that giganliner(other unreleased card) will be part of it, is more likely to be valvarard final form.

Im still iffed by this show's writing that i havent come back to watch yet since trying ro rewatch twice up to ep14 (i dont mind the spoilers in this video). I think i'll time my return and binge right before that final form is released

Just glad the Final Form isn't adorned with the Chemy Cards similar to Decade Complete, Build Genuis, and Geiz Majesty.

Maybe the final form cards is LinerLiner and Hopper 101 with the Nijigon attachment since the Master Deck has those 2 chemy card codes.

Honestly you bring up some very good point however there is a chance that they change the suit due to it being leaked and it was very early in the show before they changed the direction the show was going also with the release of the dread driver people have hacked it and found out dreads final form it uses a repli chemy version of ten liner named gigant liner the forms name is dread : type final and it gives him a new finisher named dread punishment I’m exited to see the suit design for that because dread has honestly become one of my favorite dark Kamen riders

OK I’m only halfway through the video but I kind of wanted to put my thought out there first what if Hopper one and steamliner merge to become the kamen rider gotchard card to go with chemy 101

Follow me here. Its a bit of a ramble. The rainbow in alchemy is the process of reaching enlightenment and obtaining the philospher's stone, purifying both the body and soul. The rainbow represents the journey a person goes on to achieve this enlightenment. Actual alchemic theories and concepts are woven pretty deeply into the show and isn't just some lip service element, so this COULD provide the answer for how Rainbow is obtained. Nijigon might be Houtarou's purified soul while his physical body is...well...his purified body. Combined, its "enlightenment". This actual relates to a concept proposed by C.S. Lewis about the "New Man". The next stage of human evolution in which we become like Jesus Christ and ascend to be a divine being. The alchemic concept of "enlightenment" is indistinguisable from the Christian concept of becoming "Christ like" and Lewis' "New Man" idea. Houtarou's stated goal is to make a world where humans and Chemies can live together in harmony. The Sun (which the alchemic symbol for the sun is plastered on Rainbow's chest) is generally related to the savior or messiah in nearly every religion on the planet AND is one of the most important concepts in alchemy. By merging with Nijigon, Houtarou would be able to usher in the new age of human/Chemie unity as the "New Man" who has purified his body and soul. Of course this could all be bunk, but thats just my insane ramblings from reading too much philosophy in my life.

I think that when Hotoro transforms into rainbow gotchard it will be like fouze cosmic sates transformation, gotchard’s colour will be blank, and then the chemys merge with him and his colour will change to rainbow

if you think about it, the base gotchard form is kinda blue similar to its supposed final form...

Personally I think nigigon is with the dad but will have the dad henshin with him with one card but through the plot houtarou will get him and unlock a second card that's why the cards have a big nigigon and a small one to represent father and son

when you look at rainbow gotchard and his symbol it looks like a door of light meaning god/heaven, not to mention the rainbow is the sky, im thinking that hotaro is going to temporary die because dragons are mystical creatures that are met in dreams and that's why the chemy doesnt exist, i think from the power of friendship from his chemys and friends, he creates his own door of light that he either meets or creates Nijigon ,side node: it could be his father that died and turned into Nijigon

Gotchard's evolution is making no sense. If they really went with the alchemy motif, it would've made more sense to go based off the philosophers stone process: nigredo, albedo, citrinitas, and rubedo. Save platinum gotchard as the god tier final form

And i think after he change the future that version of Hotaro might be...gone ?, who knows.

My idea for the final form is that Hotaro actually creates Nijigon through alchemy. Just like all the other chemists 100 years ago. The only issue with that is that all 101 exist before Hotaro met the chemies. Unless he was able to make Nijigon back when he was a kid.

Platina feels like the the final form not gonna lie while rainbow gotchard feels like it's from heisei phase 2 like ghost through zi o levels of over designing on final forms man it's sad actually lol

Really dislike the idea of Rainbow Gotchard. Platinum Gotchard already looks good enough as a final form, so hopefully Rainbow Gotchard is more so just a temporary form like Rabbit/Dragon Build form.

I wish we could have gotten 14 more chemy cards then we could had 115 chemys thus making ash boom boom dorado proud
