How John Wall SAVED Gil’s Career 🏀

Gilbert Arenas tells the REAL story about the rocky end of his NBA Career as he tells the Gil's Arena Crew about the time he fell out of love with basketball. He details the tumultuous end of his career that included multiple scandals & a 50-game suspension from the NBA and explains how a phone call from his replacement on the Washington Wizards, John Wall, reignited his love of the game. After leaving Washington he was puking and throwing up nervous in Orlando with the Magic trying to figure it out.
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

This segment was deep. I was a fan of Arenas' on the court, but hearing him open up like this and even talk about how his son didn't even know he was once an NBA star was something I didn't expect, but it makes me like this show that much more. Keep it up!

He was throwing because of anxiety and depression reasons. I had the same thing happen to me and I didn’t understand what was happening to me at first I thought I was sick

Thank you john wall even though something so simple as asking gil for help brought his love for the game back in the end and it helped him get out of the dark place he was in 🙏🏾..
