You moved a bit fast on the creation of the solid steel case, which people thereafter polished etc.

Nice concise tour, well edited - thank you :) Would be interested in seeing a case pressure test in more detail - especially to see what happens when a case fails the condensation test.

I thought it would be in a clean room. Thanks.

The clean room is only required for final assembly. That is where the movement will be installed and the watch sealed before they are ready to ship.

I've yet to see a Tag Heuer model that I like. I want to like one really bad so I can add a Tag to my collection.

they just use a drill for that.. sometimes a special one, but in some cases you can also use a standard drill. I've made plenty of cases myself, and i've never ever used anything else than a drill The case is put on a clamp in the right position for drilling.., or.. some lathes can also position the case, and drill the hole..

Usually the movement is what drives the price if it's mechanical due to all of the engineering that goes into those or the dial. It can also ofc depend on the case material.

They make the expensive cases and then they fit them with $100 Sellita movements. And Sell it for $2000 very clever. Do I really want a watch with Chinese quality movement? :)

What a badly made video ! swinging the camera around too fast means nothing is visible for more than a split second and brings on a headache. Trying to understand the strong Spanish accent at the same time makes the whole video unwatchable. Pity because Its a really interesting topic.
