How It’s Made: Concrete Retaining Wall Blocks
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Ever wonder how concrete rationing wall blocks are made? We'll show you how we do it here at Williams C&D Landfill with FREE concrete! We pour the leftover concrete into our concrete molds and make beautiful, sturdy concrete retaining wall blocks.

More prayers for your dad. My wife broke her hip and we could not get her to have the surgery. Kaiser did a 30 year study and concluded it shortens a persons life by ten years, or, it adds ten years to the ones who are fortunate enough to have it done. We had a good 39 years together, I'm left with all good memories. Hey, 39 years is a long, long time. Best regard's and good health to you and yours🙏

I started working back in the late 60's, early 70's and I've had a few bosses in my life. I came to realize some were horrible to work for but I would have to say that all in all, most were good. You, Mr. DIGG have to be the best boss I've ever wittnessed... and that includes being my own boss for a few years. I realize having a camera on you changes things but I have a feeling being employed by you would make for wonderful work life.

Another possible product for the extra concrete would be some cast concrete 8'+ 'curb and gutter'. Would be suitable for non spec jobs..i.e. driveways for homes, farms, small mom&pop parking areas, etc.

What an ingenious idea to make use of 100% usable concrete that is excess from poured concrete construction jobs. That's great because considering the concrete is free and you've probably already made your money back for the cost of the molds and anything else used repeatedly to make the blocks, what you're making on the blocks is either pure profit or almost pure profit. Great job! That's a fantastic use for concrete that would ordinarily just be dumped & then nobody would be able to use it the way you're making use of it. I HAVE TO GIVE YOU 5 STARS FOR CAPITOLIZING ON MAKING USE OF CONSTRUCTION WASTE TO MAKE POSSIBLY THE HEAVIEST RETAINING WALL BLOCKS THAT ARE IN USE. I THINK YOU DESERVE AN AWARD FOR YOUR SUPREME THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!

@@TheRealMrDigg you made the comment about maybe painting the blocks that look like bricks. What if you had a series of templates made that you could use to paint the individual bricks? Maybe three or four depending on how many different colors you want to use. And those then could be any colors. Same could be done for the horse blocks as well. Just a suggestion. But being able to make a few more bucks on an already cool product.
Good job guys

Great video..! I always wondered how those blocks came about. Is it up to the truck driver to screed the concrete, or which pattern mold to put it in, or is Andreas on scene pretty much for all that… Dad will be fine, they will have him up walking around 5minutes after he comes out from under anesthesia… Thank you sir.

Andreas is always around. Dad did great!
have you looked at getting a clamp for the telehandler like the ones they use to set concrete traffic barriers it would eliminate the need to use the chain when handing the blocks after they are out of the mold. it would increase the blocks per hour that could be moved and make for a safer operation by not having to get in and out of the telehandler constantly to hook and unhook or having a man in the danger zone to hook and unhook.
