Composting returns what we have taken from Mother Earth. For example: Compost can hold 5-20x its own weight in water, so adding compost to the soil increases the amount of water that is able to penetrate into the soil. Not only is this great news for the plants, it also means that water can seep all the way down to the impervious rock layer where it swells up and replenishes local springs, ponds, and lakes. I have collected some of these benefits of composting in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKKD2a6qlrnAf5s.html

I am in awe. Hammond Farms Landscape supply lives a dream of mine. Loving the degassing turns mid-way. Jettison xenobiotic volatiles is a constant in the process and moisture excipient. Does the company have some latitude to include a new materials' streams?

@@iona5439 the bacteria that brake down the organic material generate heat (like all living things their metabolism isnt 100% efficient and produces heat as a byproduct of any chemical reaction that they need to live) and when there are enough of them the effect is very visible.

Microbes, bacteria and fungus (tricoderma, pseudomonas flourosecene, actniomytes) are used to break down organic matter, and when they break they release heat it's called thermophlic state. Mesophlic (cold) - thermophlic - mesophlic this is the lifecycle of compost. And it's ready by the end of the mesophlic state
