Israel wrapped up its defense against genocide charges on a second day of hearings at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. The defense team strongly rejected the case brought by South Africa. It told the court that Israel was not trying to destroy the Palestinians, but to protect its own people - in its war against Hamas, which many countries consider a terrorist organization.
