@@italianprince8858 No, Delta is probably the best. I flew 5 hours on united and there was no TVs or meal service. And this was main cabin.

I accidentally booked a basic economy flight with a non-United Explorer card and had to go through this once. After that, I signed up for one myself haha. Now I don't have to do the step where you have to complete your check in at the airport. I like that you showed the full process of how that goes without having that perk though. I was a little worried when I first got the messaging to wait for a rep to check my bag. - SE

Interesting on how basic economy works for United. I guess if your flying 2 hrs or less & it works for ya 👊respect👊. My loyalty is with United myself, but I fly out of Phoenix (Non United Hub). But it still works for me & my United status is 1K. Comfort & perks are what keeps me loyal to them. Great Video!!!👍

American Airlines has more direct flights out of PHX even though technically Phoenix airport is not their hub airport.

It’s nice to see these comments. While I fly United, because they have the airport contract for this regional airport, I do save up & go business class, to avoid the involuntary bumping in economy. Remember Dr. Dow and how he was treated, flying United Economy’s “Fight Class” service!

Keep in mind that if you’re traveling United Basic Economy to Europe (or any other long haul international route I assume) - you get personal item plus free carryon. If you are checking a bag then there’s obviously additional fee for that.

So I’m flying from europe to Newyork but first from europe to Chicago and then to Newyork, so can i bring one personal Item like a backpack and another carry on bag like a small trolley for free without paying a fee?

@@qaminaaa yes. I flew basic economy round trip from EWR to Rome and I had a backpack and a small carryon In Rome the ticket agent even offered me to check my small roller suitcase for free because the flight was full and they were afraid there won’t be enough overhead bins available for everyone

@@aisyahkhai yes. Hot meal right after the takeoff and predeparture snacks are complimentary for all the passengers. Beer and wine is also complimentary on international flights

I flew on United a while back (economy) and the legroom was a little tight for me and I’m 5’11”. I’ll probably upgrade to premium economy next time I fly United. Depending on how long of a flight it is

May I ask you how I can add second bag to my trip or it should be to do that 24 hours before the flight.

When I get to the airport for economy, I never go to the machines. I always go straight to security, but I can’t do that for basic economy right? I have to get signed off?

Use a man’s “half windsor” knot for the best look. Anywhere you put your bag, it could be grabbed in error. Example: overhead compartment, unloaded from the bus, at the hotel lobby, turnstile.

one time I had to sit with 2 kids on my side and their mother was at the back seat watching over her kids. I offered her to change the seat with me and she thanked me so much lol
