Running Shadow Sableeye and that usually takes care of the Bronzors but I'm seeing Shuckles and hating it 💀 still, I think Catch Cup is usually one of the best cups unless it shows up at the tail end of a super narrow spawn event. Or Slakoth spawns.

this week is so much more fun then the last. it was a must have vigiroth and an ice type or else lose

I'm an annihilape user. I paired it with shadow skarmory and a 98% bronzor so I didn't have to spend too much. But after watching this I might rework the team.

I went budget with Little Catch Cup - I figured the lack of solidity of the Little Cup meta (plus evolutions, etc.) would make it easier to find teams with coverage for, versus regular Catch Cup. I have been running Umbreon with only Dark Pulse, a traded Escavalier double-moved, and switching up the lead (a fantastic shadow Shiftry I was going to build anyway, Diggersby with only 10,000 extra move, Shadow Whiscash with only Mud Bomb), and I have been doing pretty well. Cost me definitely under 100,000 in stardust. Have defeated all sorts of teams with compositions even including both Bronzor and Wobbuffet, and even a few Shuckle). The most deadly thing I have seen is XL Smeargle with Lock-on and Flying Press. That thing is disgusting.

yesterday i was use deıno cottonne and spheal team. it was quite challenging for me againts bronzor teams but i did very well somehow. i'll try that team for next 4 days.

this version of little cup is absolute trash, cant win w/o a bunch of lvl 50s. Shuckle and smeargle for example have no business here

They actually have A LOT of business there. It's literally the only GBL cup smeargle and shuckle have ever been allowed in where they can be utilized. They have hard counters like everything else, but that's how the meta works. Some Pokemon just dominate it. Same way I saw vigoroth on 4/5 teams every set for the evolution cup. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Bronzor is still the worst, and if smeargle doesn't have a specific move, it still loses to bronzor.

That’s completely untrue I’ve been having nothing but positive sets and have gained over 200 ELO after only 5-6 sets using fuecoco, seel and shadow sableye and all of them but fuecoco have only one charge move and I’ve invested maybe 15,000 stardust on all 3, so saying you have to use XL level 50 Mon to win is just plain wrong - not to mention did you not just watch this video???! 😂

I just made a new account about a month ago and I made Ace for the first time ever. 😆 Mostly using a Bronzor (non XL), Wobbuffet core. And I barely spent much leveling them up bc I caught them with higher cp. It's been fun for the most part!

Im in ace rank i every other team was xl pokes. Azu basti medi even had a couple chansey

You know what totally annihilates the beefy bronzor and/or wynaut/wobbuffet teams? My shadow sableye! It may only be 69hp but it absolutely tears teams apart

Same situation here hehe. I’m still in the process of building a lot of new mons for PvP so I technically wasn’t doing any “extra” investments for this season.

Everyone hates GL catch cup. Tbh it’s one of my favorite. It was the first time I had hit expert rank two seasons ago, and it’s the only time it’s not completely dominated by meta.

I’ve not had a single positive set since playing evo cup and catch cup I’ve lost over a 1000 elo and dropped from 2300 to 1300elo😂

This weeks batted are incredibly stupid for so many reasons the catch cup in my opinion is a way to have lesser experienced trainers have a chance being that they can catch good Pokémon and use them right away before a experienced trainer even has the chance to catch some and or use them

Bull all it really does in actuality is make lesser experienced players lose because the more experienced player has more overall knowledge and can play with different teams and over all is just a mode that should NEVER be an only option mode it’s fine as a secondary mode but not the ONLY mode
