@@atp1992 BOLLOCKS. I'm going to defy this myth because I've never heard anyone standing against it before. Every case is unique and the decision is made in split-second. An unwritten agreement is made between you and the driver in front/ behind and I think what decides it is the closing speed, the shape of the corner, your imagination of his-and your fastest possible lines while overtaking/ being overtaken, and finally the body language (the cars body language), which by the way isn't shown early and clearly due to considerations like slip-stream and others..

That was spectacular OMG, what a lap! Also a good lesson maybe for some iRacers and others, in other sims with multi-class racing. Most people are not getting out of the way because they are pricks, but because a.) they didn't see you (especially on 1 monitor, no VR, as seen here, can even happen IRL where you can see your surroundings better than on a single screen or even triple-screen setup) or b.) they are inexperienced and need to learn how to do it the right way.

My most remembered lap ever, when I raced 600 Superbike motorcycles, was at Daytona. I was gridded 75th out of 80 racers, In the second wave of a 2 wave start. They waited until the first 40, in the first wave, cleared the first turn, then we got the green flag. Out braking, out cornering, and out motoring as many as possible, I was 14th place after 1 lap of a 7 lap race on the 2.5 mile road course. I went by 2nd and third just past the finish. Like it happened yesterday...dam those were the days!
