I never understood why folks were never using Roid in high tier RTA. Irresistible Provoke + atb set to 0 + defbreak or defbreak + atkbreak multihit. And to top it off, the first hit always hit so hard I was like tripping over Roid's usefulness and was like "Why is no one using him at all? This dude SLAPS without even having a damage build. He's unintentionally doing hefty damage. I can't imagine how amazing he would be with actually good runes like the G1+ folks." I always assumed that whatever the meta was at the moment, would've absolutely destroyed Roid because ain't no way everyone is overlooking his crazy high multiplier with an irresistible high value debuff like Provoke.

I think without Chandra, Roid would not be as fun to play with. Also the lack of cd reset means you will be a bit more prone to unlucky procs

Cd roid means less spd because u have to focus on cr subs

It’s crazy how this unit wipes my entire team while I was element advantage 😂

I've been saying for months that Roid is incredible. Harmonia Vigor Roid is one of my highest winrate siege defenses, because nobody expects him to deal 20k on his own defense break.

@@just_mumun unlucky for you, gurkha have only 50% chance to hit proveke, and then there's still glancing. He's one of the worst or even the worst ld 5 star. If he doesn't provoke which happens pretty easy he's doing nothing, Kai'en on the other hand still buff himself and can def break every turn with 100% debuff rate. Edit: and even if he provoke the enemy he's still not guaranteed to win, there are many who counter him with ease and he need supporter who hold him alive and do dmg while he constantly needs to hit his provoke. There're just to many ways that can lead to a loose.

Its all about the rune quality tbh, units and picks don't really matter much the higher you go. I mean its a grinding game, the better the vio you have, the higher your ranks will be.

Its the other way around, they matter most the higher you go. If u dont know what you are doing u can easily lose to punishers with a g3 account, even if ur despair/vio sets have 30 spd more on average. Rune quality matters the most at lower ranks where u can pick blindfolded because drafts in general are all over the place.

It is both. Mechanics of this game is more complicated than you think. It much easier watching it. I was amazed by g+ people only bringing supports and ditching the usual damage and just work around skills and manages to win
