@6:00 That was actually pretty genius of the opponent. He started attacking with the single zergling, then the swarm came later. Because there was no breaks in attacks there wasn't a SECOND notification.

Ive gone through so many youtube phases but something about uThermal's content is just so well produced its satisfying to watch or listen to even well beyond my foray into Starcraft. Cheers to being alive at the same time as Marc!

The absolute best nuke vs. zerg episode of all time

Marc's videos are truly a blessing! Sometimes I don't even watch, just listen to his incredible commentary, while doing the household chores at 11 P.M., after the baby goes to sleep, and I need some energy to push through. Yeah, you definitely know when you need get back to the computer to watch :D

I also agree on no spoiler. I like goin straight into it and seeing it for the first time

Yup, clocking in at 1 AM here :D This episode was absolutely golden, I do agree that with the current lineup we kinda lack longer games usually, but this one surely delivered. Also think that you're getting even better at multitasking with ghosts and sneakily placing/controlling them with simultaneous nukes. That 95 kills madlad needs a name :P

I like that preview at the start, just started into Starcraft a few months ago, your content makes everyday so much better, thanks.

That nuke landing and the guy just instantly gging and leaving was perfection.

I mean...what was he even going to do? That nuke alone was like, 3000+ resources. And he already lost several mineral lines worth of drones off the back of this. Yes he could remake everything but he clearly was getting tilted and decided to just leave to save his sanity.

I love your videos man, I watch them almost daily. Genius strategies, entertaining commentary and so pro gameplay!

I was thinking the same but I watched it anyway. He usually does 3 games per episode so you do not know for which game the spoiler is unless you caught the name of the opponent as well. i did not so for me it was spoiler free. Cheers!

The daily uploads are amazing. This INTRO though, was the best cliffhanger. Great move with this!

In 10+ years my best ever kill combo is 2 Banelings for 37 SCVs, 2 Mules and a Command Center, technically it's the last Baneling that got all the kills! I kept an amazing screenshot of it :)

Youre really the only sc2 youtuber i watch. All of your videos are fun, your commentary is very good and the gameplay is always fun to watch.

I have an idea on a new series. I call it "Counter." Instead of limiting yourself to certain units in the series, you instead build units that most effectively counter what your opponent is doing. So, for example, if your enemy was a Terrain building lots of marines, what would you build to counter them? Tanks maybe? In the early game, you would have 2 options. Light cheeses (no all in) that weaken your opponents start while allowing you to start the macro game ahead, or inducements that would encourage your opponent to counter you. For example, if you started the game with 2 battle cruisers warping into his main base, what is your opponent likely to do in the game to counter that? Then while he is building his counter, you are already building a counter to his counter in advance (maybe the counter to a battle cruiser attack is lots of defensive towers, and in the meantime, you are building a lot of tanks).

Honestly I've been doing cyclone only builds before this patch came live. I think they actually suck now, it's so difficult to micro them, they "wiggle" a lot now especially fighting mass lings and it's become a mess.

@@IamKnucks Marc revealed that 95 kill ghost is going to happen in thumbnail, but without the spoiler, I wouldn't know when that is going to happen. Personally, not having the spoiler would have made all other nukes a bit more exciting because I wouldn't have known if those there 'the one', and at the same time, when the big nuke actually happened in game, I wasn't as impressed, because I already knew that it will hit.

Anyone remember Pylo the Pylon? That ghost did more than Pylo ever did and deserves a name.

Two ideas for more macro games: Terran: You can only attack inside the range of a sensor tower(except for attacking workers) Zerg: you can only attack when your creep reaches the middle of the map(except for attacking workers)

In the warm-up game, could you delay the Mine shot by switching tagrets between 2 Lings when the thet were attacking SCV constructing the CC?

Hi Marc, can you change layout of your channel landing page to have the Upload playlist on top? I always have to switch to the Upload tab to view your latest video. I have too many people with notification on and it doesn't show your video sometimes.

Hot Take, I liked the preview at the beginning because it helps give a new viewer a taste of the excitement coming. This is a good strategy to link the video titles into the content to deliver on the hook. . However,, this strategy performs best when watching the video delivers more fun than expected. Believe people were dissapointed by spoiler because the final moment of the video was less climactic. One way around this may be to have the preview just be your reaction, and just show the ghost zoomed in with 95 kills on the replay? In this way the 'payoff' / 'money shot' isnt spoiled. Not sure if this would work well in editing.

@Uthermal before this episode ends please allow all units in bunkers with Neosteel Armor that's +2 armor and 6 infantry in one bunker for D I really like this episode it's one that beastyqt never did before he switched games. Maybe stretch it out longer?

Last game that zerg could have still play on, but guessed he was mentally defeated. The beauty of zerg is u can destroy half their army less than 6mins they are maxxed again.

How come there's creep on the stairs (where the 95-kill Ghost is standing :D that was sooo dirty btw!) at 33:55 but when you replay it at 34:00 the creep is gone? Has replay always worked that way & I just never noticed?

Ify our bad at finding nukes and theres lots of ghosts... The proper solution for low apm players as zerg. Lurkers and over seers on a 2/3 unit behind patrol... It takes about 2-4 overseers on a patrol and one lurker can kill a ghost before it gets off, and if it snipes your lurker you also no where it is and can trap it out.. but yeah, lurkers with over seers on patrols can be really effective, with also zergling spreads, but the player isn't really adapting to what I call map defence control, where you use a scarcity tactic of units on the field but have pretty muc hcontrol. Where the zerg is moving his army around but its doing nothing which is in effective... It would be better for him to sav the mutas and take out and stuff and swap into other untis and go hyper aggreesive since he actualyl has vision but little map control, becuase he lacks control over what is going on, lol

You know uThermal, the whole idea to become "un nydus able" would work a bit easier, and be more economical if you took my previous challenge in mind and just build command centers to orbitals there. Ironically i don't have issues with nydus only because theres like 5-6 orbitals in my main blocking everything.

I think the reason zergs make corruptors rather than mutas is because you already have shown a lot of widow mines and widow mines are just a huge pain in the rear when you play muta
