Thanks for the video. It was really useful. I stayed in Kontokali but it was easy to link up with the routes you posted. Pantokrator and beyond was a good ride. Nothing too steep until the 1km up to the summit where the road turns to rubble. Fantastic views. Generally the roads were better than I expected and surprisingly quiet. I also rode Sokraki, Lakones, Liapades beach. The road up Sokraki was poor but the view are stunning. The descent had better roads but a few potholes. The beach was beautiful and very quiet. The road back to Kontokali was probably the best and again not much traffic. Over all, a positive experience and I'll likely go back.

Thassos is also great, the tour of the island, the Kastro climb.... but you are so right: not in July or August ;-)

We are ok with hills on the Brompton. We are hiring some storage in the main town to lesson our load. The hub on the Brompton is great. 6 speed - hoping to do 50 ok a day on avg …. Do you have any maps for accomodation recommendations on the island ? :) 😆

Hi, great video. we are heading to Corfu in April, hoping it doesn't rain too much. if temps are 18-20 it would be ideal for riding. Can I ask, did you hire bikes in Corfu, or did you take your own bikes?

April should be great for riding. We had our own bikes, don't know if there are rental services, maybe in Corfu town. Enjoy your trip, let us know how it was when you return.

thanks for the video. I will be visiting corfu next week. Trying to decide if i should bring my roady with 30 tires or gravel with 38. What do you suggest?

@@ckavi2647 if you like road cycling then a road bike with 30 is perfect. As you saw on the video the asphalt is not always perfect. We did the routes with 25, it was ok but 30 would be even better. If you want to have more freedom to go also on some gravel sections and don't care about the asphalt at all then go for the second option. Enjoy your trip ! Let us know how was it in the end.
