Still, Jak and Daxter make a better Playstation Mascot than Crash and they were only around for one generation. Crash stopped being a playstation icon and more of just an activision one. Similar to Spyro. When you think Skylanders do you think...'sony' or do you think 'activision'?

Sure that could be his character if you want it to be, but lets be honest, with how much he has run out of to say about halo at this point, would you really prefer him to start talking about what kind of rocks you see in halo games? Or what kind of trees are in halo games? Or how many pixels it takes to make an elites face? Also he can think characters in halo are better then characters in other games if you want that to be true, but at least literally the only thing he mentioned as to why is about how well the characters hold up as a mascot for their particular company.

When. you know halo video creators are running out of ideas.

Halo is about an old old race called the forerunners who made a ring "Halo" a super weapon that kills all life in the galaxy. After they found a virus called the flood that feed on humans covenant and what else. The UNSC in 2524 encounters an alien alliance called the covenant. The covenant are engaged with the UNSC forces of the colonies and outer colonies of the game. Before this happened Dr halsey is a doctor who kidnapped 5 years old children as they were taken away from their parents as they were replaced with flash clones. The children were taken to a frigate where they were trained as soldiers as time went on towards the events of the pre-human and covenant war and they were trained with heavy exercises and combat training. After a few years were gone by and they got their Spartan DNA into their bodies as half of the Spartans were dead from the treatment of the Spartan II's. After receiving their armor and weapons and they were all turned into Spartans. After the funeral of the dead teenagers Spartans who died from the liquid inside of their bodies was they were put into space where their dead bodies were sent out of the ship as John-117 was now Squad leader. When they encountered the Covenant and they found out that the ship had shielded that the longswords missiles didn't work as they planned. After the events of Harvest being lost and the human-covenant war began as the war raged on until 2553 and billions and billions of innocent lives were killed by the covenant. Colonie after colonie were glassed by the covenant as they reached a fortress world called Reach and the UNSC had the Spartans the front lines defending the covenant of invading Reach. After Reach fell as the Spartans who were deployed on the planet were lost in combat. "Spartans never die". They are just MIA. John-117 and an AI called Cortana were taken off of the planet of Reach who the captain was Captain Keyes of the Pillar of Autumn as they found a halo ring that the covenant were boarding the Ship as Master Chief evacuated the marines as they abandoned the ship and landed on the ring. A few days later and they discovered the monitor 343 guilty spark of installation 04. After learning the faith of humanity and the covenant of the super weapon "Halo" that would wipe out the entire galaxy and leaving dust and nothing else standing. Humanity and the covenant were both be destroyed by the ring. Master chief and Cortana would overload the engine cores of the pillar of Autumn as the ship exploded as the ship destroyed the halo ring causing the monitor to lose his home and the Master chief and Cortana would reach Sgt major Johnson. They would return to Earth as they were getting medals and stuff as the prophet of regret arrived at the Fleet of earth. After fighting with the covenant ships and the UNSC navy fleet defending earth from the covenant. After regret landing in the African mega city New Mombasa as he jumped into slip space with the UNSC frigate In Amber clad and reaching the next Halo ring as they fought over the ring and so on and on. Too much detail of the whole situation. Halo fans will keep me updated. Play station on the other on is from japan that I only enjoyed the games as a little kid but now I go with the Xbox one

Well, Halo 3 was my introduction into "traditional" shooters. It was really Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter for the PS2 that brought me into video games.

A character that has had new games on every Xbox and only recently was in a bad game, or a character that went 3rd party, had a couple mobile games, disappeared for 7 years, and didn't even make it into PlayStation All-Stars? I wonder how Master Chief could possibly be the better mascot. Why does this exist?

....Scifi first person shooter with a badass biologically engineered man with super badass armor (from microsoft)...Vs a child friendly platformer with a crazy bandicoot as its main character..yeah i see no problem with this comparison. NOT AT ALL

I miss the days when Halo Follower produced good content I enjoyed watching.

Halo is the only reason I play Xbox every few months, Also Sony has Bloodborne which not only has amazing gameplay as well as a killer sound track. I love halo, like a lot, and I prefer the PS4 based off of the interface, smooth less buggy online experience, and I like more destiny content first. (That last part really doesn't matter though)

Well aside from the useless banter the chat is. I'm gonna answer the question with a biased view. I'm a PC player who played the first 2 Halo games on it but wasn't introduced via PC Halo. I was introduced to the game when I played local multiplayer with my dad at the age of 5. I was pretty good especially since it was my first time playing a console game. Shooting randomly and not knowing what the fuck buttons do most of the time. From then on I've played handheld and console games. First handheld, Original GB Color, then a PSP, then a GB Sp. years later, I get my first console from my uncle, his Xbox in which he promised to me. With it, the halo game I played with my dad before he was sent to Iraq for 9 months. Another year later, dead Xbox, got a GameCube. Broke that for being stupid, putting ice cream behind it then leaving for 30 minutes. Few years later, 360 and played Halo 2 and 3. Sadly not with my dad but my sister. Bonded really well and eventually got equal in experience where we'd trade wins. Halo is the game I'd ever play on the Xbox. (Unless it's another title I thoroughly enjoy like Dark Souls.) Now I'm a PS4 user and still a pic gamer with the First halo and 2nd Halo installed on there. Haven't bothered with the stupid prices business like Microsoft and company have placed on their games and consoles. But if given the chance, I'd happily play the original halo that I grew up playing with my dad again. He's currently paralyzed in the left leg and medically retired. (Obvious) now there are some of you who are gonna be all triggered and judgmental. Want to know what I say? I say fuck you. I've had some good times with Halo and that's all there is. I'm biased as I will play both consoles and Pc. Hell I still have my original Wii. Still works and my PS3. So yeah, there my biased answer. Explained my fun times and problems of it. I don't understand why people are triggered about this. It's childish. Grow up people.

Actual cool idea for a video: What is the absolute mad weight a Spartan 2 wearing Mjolnir Gen 2 could lift, and also what is the fastest they could run?

"343 is this, 343 is that." So many tip riders on 343i It's honestly hilarious nowadays. Most of the common dislikers of 343i are the "oldheads" if thats what they expect to be called who talk about "clambering is garbage, sprinting sucks." How about don't buy the games anymore? Or maybe I don't know just don't look at the trailers and games 343 makes, But oh that's right, everyone always has to complain when theirs a change to something, something that they didn't even help develop and make into a game. Let me break it down like this. We are Spartans. Genetically advanced super soldiers capable of basically completing any task at lightning speed. in HALO 4 AND 5, we are the spartan 4's which are literally stated to be the smaller sets and genetically modified Spartans to be faster and more agile then their predecessors. How stupid would it be if we were supposed to be the more "agile" spartans and we couldn't clamber? Or we couldn't sprint, or hell even use thrusters? The Halo community by far is the most switch lane community out of any game besides COD. You have the die hard fans who if it's not an exact copy and paste of previous halo games made by Bungie before it it's trash. You have the people who are always stuck on the art style. Like can you for once just shut the hell up and not play the game if your really that butthurt over a change to mechanics or art style? I honestly can't even begin to think how annoyed the developers at 343i feel trying to at least give you guys a game that's somewhat different just to change the scene a little. Now yes, I understand that the Halo 5 campaign wasn't that great because it broke a lot of lore from the books to the game, but those of you who say the multiplayer sucks and the ads is garbage, That's your opinion I guess, but why do you have to continually persist on making it so that everyone who enjoys the 343i games has to know how much you dislike the games or how much Halo has "fallen". Quite frankly in my opinion 343i is going in the right direction, in multiplayer mechanics. All we need are elites, and hell that would be a fun game. Maybe I'm just to open minded on topics like Halo, but Halo is an amazing game and always has been to me even when run by 343i and if people think the games are so garbage and trash, Just stop playing it, and even if you didn't play it just stop talking about it.

Did you not see all those people in Crash costumes when ps1 and ps2 came out? And by the way, crash is known by more people because more people can play the game and not just adults. The only reason halo sold more is because it has the best halo game halo 5 XD that people had hope for after halo 4, the halo 1 remastered, spartan strike and assault, master chief collection and just had more games in the saga. The ratio is much larger for the crash series.

As much as I love Halo with all my soul... I can't really side with you here. Crash N*Sane Trilogy is not a reskin at all. The game was remade from the ground up becasue the original code for the game was lost to the annals of time, that's why people today are having trouble with it. Things like Crash's jump speed are faster and the hitboxes are way more precise than in the originals. Back then you could have Crash just standing off an edge with half his foot on the the platform and not fall, can't do that now. Also the new animations to his victory dance and idle animations are all redone almost completely. Halo literally is the only reason I'm bothering to get an Xbox One. Key Word being "bothering", and Halo 5 isn't even good, it's the weakest game in the series, but I'm a dumb fan boy. I was looking more forward to Scalebound then I was for Halo 5 and they canned that game. I'd get H5 were it on the PC but MS keeps trying to push the Xbox with weak games. 343i has potential, i know they do, MS just needs to back of and stop shoving their dicks where they don't belong. No one cares about Forza a week after it's released, and Gears of War basically relaunched it's story with new enemies, it did great and i'm happy it did but I'm a little afraid it's just gonna repeat itself soon. First YT in years. I'm ashamed this broke me.

I respectfully disagree with your opinions on the games listed, but I understand where you're coming from. There's no way every game on a platform will appeal to everyone. That being said, I've played a decent amount of different games (genre wise) and have found that not all of them appeal to me. Everyone is individually different and has differentiating opinions, so it's no surprise that you don't particularly care for certain games. This is why I care more about the friends and individuals that I can play with when deciding on a platform. Now, I'm not going to say that all of those people who switched to a PS4 made a poor decision because they wanted to play those particular games. That's not really my place to decide, however, I find it highly troubling that people seem to be caring a lot more about the games available on a platform than the people and friends they have. It's almost as if they take these things for granted... I, myself, choose not to...

EL Gamer Mexican it not the weakest the weakest is halo 1 and odst are the weakest if I'm completely honest halo 5 has the most content now key word now then any other halo more games more guns and armor smooth fast paced combat with strategy nice graphics not better then anniversary but pretty good I think people hate halo 5 because of the story and I completely agree also the mircro transactions but their optional and not forced on you I'm level 147 with evrythink but weapon skins but that's because it a Rare skin you can only get through 343 industries I'm not biased either I beat every other halo on every difficulty on heroic and halo 3 on legendary I persentaly not a fan of halo 3 because it feels to slow and clunky but fun but it just me halo 2 was better for me halo reach was awesome 👏

A really well done shitty weeb game. lol Jokes aside, it was being made by Hideki Kamiya, on of my favorite developers ever. I love fast paced character actions. As far as as the new halo's go I went back to play Reach and had more fun.

Halo has always been the only reason why I got an Xbox, but after Halo 5, I just don't know how I feel about the franchise anymore. Might have to wait out after Halo 6 releases to see if I should actually buy it.

my father in 2012 got an xbox 360 and halo 4. i played it a lot but because i was new to pretty much any form of competitive or even a difficult game i mostly played off of the multiplayer pvp. the next year i got reach and by then i was better then pvp and played the hell out of btb and i loved the campaign. then the xbox one came out and a half a year after the release of mcc i got both of those and played a ton out of campaign while trying to find all the skulls and dolls. once halo 5 came out i was so exited and pre ordered it. i was disappointed at launch but after forge came out the game was then wrth its price because i play daily of forge and customs making great maps and finding new and interesting games. so i jumped feet first right into halo without much thought and not im largely into fps games.

I'm not sure if you guys think about how much effort goes into these videos or the ideas in them, but over the past couple videos all I see is "HaloFollower is out of ideas." Have some respect people you don't have to watch the video and complain about it. I used to watch my brother play Halo 1 and 2 on his original Xbox. He then got me a 360 and his original Xbox to play them all.. So yeah i kinda did. But let me say something here. I had an Xbox when I was a kid (rip Zapper) but I was more of a PC gamer... if you could call me that with my dank Putt Putt saves the zoo (rip Putt Putt). I first played Halo at a Christmas Party a few years after it came out and I've been an Xbox fan ever since... Literally though when Halo 3 came out that was when I got a 360 same with Xbox One. I play other games on Xbox, but I don't bother with it until Halo can be in my library.

When I first saw halo it was't the trailer, my parents got me the Xbox because I want console to play games. And the halo came with the Xbox I enjoy playing it & that's why I play halo for 16 years, I know the game out a little longer then that.

Halo and Gears of War is the only reason why I have an Xbox. Me personally I feel like PlayStation is the better platform.

I played halo reach at my freinds house(was one of the first video games i ever played) and a few years later i got a 360 and got halo 4 (it is tied with reach for my favorite) and that is why i am a Xbox player and gamer in general.

I bought a xbox one because I played halo: reach on xbox 360, which really showed me all the xbox thing, and truly made me a gamer, then I saw some master chief collection trailers and thrn I know thst I had to buy the xbox one

I got my Xbox as a Christmas gift and I saw the box and master chief was on the box and he looks like a bad ass so I opend it quickly and I immediately fell in love with the franchise that is halo

It's true I got a 360 and an Xbox one because of Halo but my fist Xbox, the original, I got because it was cheaper than the PS2 at the time and thats where I found Halo 2 which is my personal favourite. Halo is just awesome.

The first halo I was introduced was halo 3 I love that game I can't wait for it to be backward compatible on the Xbox one. I remember the first time I played it I was hanging out with my older cousin and his friends an one of them brought his Xbox 360 so we played a lot of games on it but the one game I loved the most was Halo 3 and we played infection on it. I loved it because it was a unique game something from previous games I played and it got me hooked not just for getting an Xbox but got me to play Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo Wars, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, and Halo Wars 2 but for Halo 4 and 5 those two games are terrible but I started still love and hoping that Halo 6 will be better and be halo again.
