How is Life in Rural Vermont?
I take a trip to Northern Vermont and experience the rural way of life with gravel roads, barns, covered bridges and Maple Syrup. It was the Fourth of July so I even got to watch a small town parade.

Don’t forget the fourth time, when you clean the wood stove. Then there’s when you dump the ashes on the ice.
Love the down to earth videos, seeing how differently Americans live in this country gives me a lot of perspective, especially since I’ve grew up in southeast Pennsylvania in a very populous county not too far away from Philly. Keep up the great work, love these small rural town, slice of life videos you make!

You are welcome. Vermont was so green and leafy when I was there in July. Now it is covered in snow.
What a great video! Thank you! I grew up in Vermont and miss it every day. I'd still be there if I could make a living. Folks out here in Chicago can't figure out how I'm able to identify various sorts of farm equipment or what "sugar on snow" is!

Glad you enjoyed the video. I had a nice time up in Vermont in July. Chicago is a long way off in miles and in lifestyle.

@@variousvisfineart It certainly is but I get back there often to visit family. I still have family on the top-side of the dirt! It was nice to see the memorials of your your clan in Corinth.
Get off the darn interstate if you're gonna visit Vermont we don't bite.
One day I asked my neighbor Norbert over the hill in Walden how many tractors he had. He looked at me and said while a sly smile came across his face, "my wife don't even know how many tractors I have". (True Story) Bloody old coot is well into his 80's and manages to work 40 hours a day. (Only slightly hyperbolic)

@@variousvisfineart Too bad you didn't visit the Orne-covered bridge, lots of history there. the bridge you covered was built in the 60's by a farmer just to get to the fields on the other side of the Black River, should have gone down the road a few more miles.

Obviously, you've not been in Vermont during winter or mud season or you'd understand why AWD or 4WD is a necessity. Your BMW is only good for filling potholes and muddy patches.
