A wild ride yesterday, but Kristen Foxen is very much alive now, not least of all due to this move. Of the eighteen players remaining, neither she nor Nicklas Astedt are leading in chip count, but they are well up the list, and in my mind the most dangerous players left with the departure of Brian Rast.

Checking JJ after 3betting pre on that board is a straight-up leak, especially JJ with no spade. Maybe with specifically JsJh he can check because Kristen has slightly more value with JTs in range and fewer draws like AJs-KJs but that's a reach.

Moroz plays this hand completely wrong. He is the pre-flop agressor and then he checks both on the flop and turn? With his stack? I'm sorry, but you don't hand over initiative to the player who has a significantly smaller stack and who has position on you. Even with the ace on the turn he can continue firing because it's obvious that Foxen doesn't have AK. Had she had AK, she would've gone all in pre-flop.

@@JonCookeBridge I see that logic. My thought process was that something a bit smaller so it looks more like a value bet for a flush, but not so small as to look like a blocker bet because as you said, any ace will call easily. This is because if your opponent does hold a flush or hero calls an ace anyway you lose less.

I dont like the smile at the end. When I bluff, I try to remain expressionless for the next time I bluff. That bluff took heart, but it's in an easy spot to pull off based on him having two red jacks, and her having having position on him. Spades on turn and river that are over cards to his pair also make it hard for him to call.

Flop is an easy check jam, red jacks out of position and low spr, too many bad runouts and can and will get called by worse too

Moroz played too passively here. Runout helped Foxon and she came through.

Disagree. Both bets make all non flush hands fold, but the smaller bet keeps you in the tournament.
