Thankyou good sir.I just got my ATOTO pro installed and need this info.Awesome unit btw!

I haven't tried the routing yet, but when I just vie the map it only shows north all the time. I even went into settings and checked it the button to show north all the time was already greyed out.

If the map is "offline", how are you navigating? Does your head unit have a GPS antennae connected?

Hi, yes we have a GPS antenna coming in the boxing with the headunit!

I have atoto s8 pro probably best headnit out there for 470$ really great quality but radio sucks in it you must have good car antenna otherwise headunit doesn’t have anything that makes the radio work better so only thing you can depend on is good antenna it says on their website that their radio is good for signal it’s not true the radio app in atoto would not help you get any reception im in Canada and tried few antennas and all weren’t working well with this unit my next step is I’m going to get satellite antenna and plug it in see if it picks up regular fm radio

Not well. I have had the A6 radio for over a year and google maps have been a nightmare. The external sd card card, no matter which of four the proper size and everything, cannot be read 80% of the time. Therefore I have had to load what maps I use on the Internal storage, and that becomes an nuisance problem as well.it would be nice if someone out there has solved the problem and will share the solution with me. It has been this way since I installed it last Christmas. Thanks

I guess my problem is I can't login, because I don't have internet connection. How exactly are you suppose to get an internet connection in the car? Through your phone?

1. If you have the wifi antenna installed, park close to your house's wifi router; 2. Or you can set up your phone as a wifi hotspot, then connect the Atoto to that wifi SSID; 3. Or you can use Bluetooth tethering or USB tethering

Google maps offline on an android head unit is horrible for one giant glaring reason, the map selection is four times wider than it is from top to bottom and there's no way to change it. If you need a north to south route, it's not possible beyond a very short distance. Horrible oversight by google and they will not address this issue.

Well I've been happy with it for about one month but now it won't fucking connect to the internet. It's connected to my wifi. My phones on my wifi. My laptop is on my wifi. The atoto is connected and even says signal strength "good" but I can't do a goddamn thing. I should've known better than to upgrade from the W3 which was plagued with problems.
