Oh, I didn't know that the China town in the Philippines is the oldest China town outside China in the whole world!!!! 2018 and 2019 celebrations were really different, this year could have been more happier if the pandemic is over, but still, as you said, there were a good number who celebrated than as what you expected. Wishing and claiming that this year of the Tiger brings us good luck!

"Kung Hei Fat Choy" (in Cantonese dialect), "Gong Xi Fa Cai" (in Mandarin language).🎉🎆🧨 So nice seeing the yearly celebrations, from 2018 till today, 2022. I've been there pre-pandemic and you could hardly move then, not much elbow room. "Grabe the pila", mostly in restaurants. Despite Carbonara ("Coronavirus), still the Chinese and Filipino people's celebration prevails. Good to really try the Chinese foods for New Year. Truly yummy!😋🍜🥢🍽️
