If it covered by my insurance. Do you have to buy another ring or you can just keep the money?

I have a renters insurance policy .. if my jewelry or belongings are lost or stolen like from my car or lost on a flight is my property covered?

Yes you would be covered just make sure your jewelry is scheduled on your policy and when you scheduled jewelry there's no deductible

If I got my jewellery(rings) scheduled onto my home insurance, is it only insured if I keep it at home or is it still covered if im wearing my rings and lose them or if they get stolen? Or do I have to keep them at home?

Hey Hydra! I would ask your agent to make sure but your rings are covered no matter where they are. You do not have to keep them at home. Again, double check with an agent or the company but as long as they are scheduled, you should be good to go.

BEWARE - YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK TWICE BEFORE INSURING VAULABLES WITH AAA An AAA rep told me today that if you want valuables insured you must: a) get an appraisal. b) take BOTH the appraisal AND the item/s into a local AAA office. Are you kidding me !!!? So people who have gold bars etc. are going to lug them into an AAA office (risking their life perhaps ... especially in LA) so AAA can be sure you actually own them.
