Excellent video, no loud music or wasted words, just what I needed to replace my mirror today !

My son and I just used this to change out the driver's side power mirror on my 2007 Ford F150, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the video brother. People like you make a lot of people happy.

Wonderful! Who needs a dealership repairman when we have videos like this on youtube. As was said before. Saved me $ on labor. I bet car dealers hate these videos. If their rates were not so high we would not need this video. Thanks for the creation and posting!

Excellent instructions. Worked for my 2007 lariat with power, heat, turn signal, and auto dim. Saved a lot of time and money! Just make sure you get a feature equivalent or compatible replacement mirror.

Great video. NOTE for those with manual window crank: window handle cover pops off to reveal a recessed T15 Torx screw which holds the window crank. It was set too deep for my Torx bit holder, but I started it out by holding the bit in a Vise-Grips.

huge thanks, had to do this outside in freezing -11C. Perfect details had that sucker switched in no time. Note to all, when putting the door panel back on watch you dont pinch the wire harnesses :P

One Thing, The plastic screw holders, I did not have a pair of bent tip pliers to get behind them, so I went behind the holder and with a solid piece of metal on the back of the holder I pushed the plastic screw holders towards myself, and they popped right out. Thanks Again!

Took about an 45 minutes for me on my 2004 F150. Only thing different from video was there was another nut I had to loosen that was connected to the mirror. Other than that, it was pretty simple. Thanks.

Where was the nut? I can't get the mirror off after removing the 3 nuts.

I found the 1 nut I needed to remove behind panel in middle near others. It was pretty hidden. Read through all of comments on this post and a couple people mentioned it wasn't mentioned in the video. So I searched again and it stood right out.! The video was awesome but the comments truly helped too. Thanks! Holly

I need a passenger side mirror for my 2007 f150 supercrew, and I don't want to go to the dealer, because for my ford explorer that is 10 years old, they wanted $183 for one mirror. no thanks... went on ebay, got one for like $12 but it wasn't heated and when i drove fast on the highway it shook. lol any suggestions for this one?

yeah, got as far as the bottom screws and i have no idea about that handle panel. Took the speaker panel off, saw a screw attached to the speaker, looked like it was screwed into the speaker as well, didn't want to mess with that. Was out of ideas. No instructions on a 2009+ F-150 anywhere on the net...

Can someone do me a huge favor? Can someone measure the bolt pattern on the mirror ... From side to side and up and down from the middle of the bolt.. Im trying to buy some tow mirrors for my 2001 f150 super crew they don't make tow mirrors I don't mind doing some modification but I really don't want to drill new holes please someone help

should be, may not be the exact same but should be pretty close.

I liked "First, remove these two screws" and drops one in the gravel. How about First you park on some pavement, or spread a towel to keep from losing small parts.

Worked perfectly until...after removing the nuts on the old mirror, the mirror will not pull out. The stud on the top doesn't seem to want to come out.

There's another bolt and nut you have to loosen. It was inside the door panel. I had the same trouble removing the mirror.

Found the last but hidden behind the panel. Then the mirror pulled right off. New aftermarket mirror I spent $43 for off Amazonia prime works great. Blinker and motor all work. This was for a 2004 Ford. f-150 XLT 5.4L

You didn’t show the hard, putting the panel back on!
