In stock car engines, they run hot water through the motors water-jacket before starting it. Those tolerances are very tight. Probably why the motor blew.

with the correct weight oil I'm pretty sure a cold start would be fine, but it certainly wouldn't like any sort of cold rev'ing

Very little is stock about a stock car. IMO NASCAR racing engines should be built to street specification (i.e. as if it was going in a daily driver). At least that would be much closer to stock than what they're currently running.

They don't heat the water . . . the oil tank has a heater. If it's the first start of the day, you spin the starter without the ignition on to circulate the oil, and get the warm oil to the engine, then start it.

I'm in east Tennessee so my dialect and phrases are really common to me but I like knowing that people are laughing at some of the things I say.

It's not a southern phrase, it's used all in America. Sometimes you just hear things one time. "WE" , talking to me , but I don't see anyone around so I MUST have a mouse in my pocket. Josh did a nice job too. Glad your vernacular is expanded.

He is by far the best story teller on this channel. Never been much of a Nascar fan but he makes me want to own a car like this now. He definitely can sell anything to anyone.

Rabbit has some of the best stories. Its like all his life he's been doing crazy stuff just to prepare himself to tell them to us.

You're not even supposed to have them on the floor for long periods. I went through all the same things went I started. It's trial and error for sure. Its a headache

Beautiful little town of Bradenton, home to them screechin’ Bald Eagles. Hell, I heard the owner that there track’s got another streetcar-NASCAR (truck), that he’d prolly let you take for a spin too. Man, that’d be a sight to see! 😎🤘🏽

Dillon Jones Apparently, Rabbit declined to actually drive the car and intended to hire a professional driver to race GG, so GG backed out, as it didn’t really serve the purposes Casey had in mind for a learning experience, not a money pit of an arms race. Shame, would’ve been fun to see GG wipe the floor with their young talent.
