Nahi bhai humare wala hi jyada better hai humare desh ke liye !!! Isse aur better kiya ja sakta hai..but Current system hi thik hai. Maybe hybrid system use kerke Vote percentage se Rajya Sabha ki seats share decide ki jaani chahiye.. maybe !!!! But Lok Sabha aur State elections mein nahi... A list system is only possible when you have 2-3 political parties. So present one is perfect in my view

What if India add additional 100 seats and elect on this basis. So we will have both system working together. 543+100=643. This will give justice to other voter as well.

But as unification goes on the other model will be helpful.

Ruling party will be in loss, since minor parties will occupy some seats in the listing process. It can make sense for Rajya Sabha, if we want direct voting, instead of nomination based indirect election system..!!

Such a huge populated , complex and diverse country (india) first pass the vote system is comparatively better than list system. Divisive poltics can be happen if whole nation considered as a single constituency. In our system a local leader better understand it's regional problem and accountability is also fix to their people. But a hybrid model can be a option like fifty present seats of parliament will be filled by list system and other by incumbent system that we have after increase size of current constituency.

We can have mixed system like 543 seats by constituency method and 100 seats by proportionate system

Rajya sabha and all the nominated member can be added with the current system and the list numbering should be according least defeat margin by percentage not what party gives.

My Suggestion - India Should Go With First Past the Poll system in Loksabha election but Rajyasabha MP should be selected as per the vote percentage in general election with necessary modifications to ensure permanent nature of Rajyasabha

Voting rights can be given to political parties on the basis of vote percentage in parliament, so for taking any decision in loksabha there will be 1086 votes in loksabha

India should continue the FPTP system. But the largest political party will serve for the next 5 years whether they have a Majority or not. For example, out of 100 seats A-35, B-40, and C-25 got seats. Then B will serve govt for the next 5 years. In this way, a stable govt (here B) will form. No candidate can switch from the party. If he switches, another candidate from the same party will represent. During nomination, every political party will nominate 2 candidates. After switching/ death of 1st choice candidate 2nd choice candidate will complete the 5 years tenure. In this, a national political party will form central govt. To rule in centre we obviously needed a national party, not any regional political party. Again to pass any bill govt should need 50% vote during the bill pass.
