UPSC Relevance 1. Explain how Production Linked Inventive package for semiconductors will help India become Atmanirbhar. #GS3 2. Critically examine the ideas of "Tech Sovereignty" and "National security" in the context of India's import dependence on Semiconductors. #GS3 3. The Global Semiconductor supply chain is highly fragmented. In this context, Explain the potential segments where India can make its presence felt in the chip market. #GS3 4. Explain the geopolitical importance of Semiconductors. #GS2 #Internal Security #Indian Economy #International Relations Semiconductors form the backbone of today's economy but the supply chain remains highly fragmented. This fragmented nature of chip supply chain is also a part of India's Geopolitical challenges especially at a time when Chinese aggression in the Taiwan strait and elsewhere is on the rise. In this video we talk about how India can make itself a global power when it comes to semiconductor manufacturing and production. This video will rake you through all these aspects and will be helpful in solving questions of International relations, Indian economy and National Security

I think the biggest hurdle for India is not from outside but from inside. The politicians will not allow industries to use water. They already feed on people sentiments like agriculture, natural resource and religion.
