I feel like it’s reasonable expectations though? Like the lobby is saturated with people fighting each other. Ecspecially when Hal is face tanking 3 enemies at once, that means that 3 different enemies you have free beams on. I hate when my teammates bait me, and never do anything with it. Like at least when I bait a teammate I always get a knock. Just had a game in quads earlier where I dropped a 4k and the next closest teammate has 1000. That’s crazy to me

Usually for apex tourneys they don’t have heat shields spawn but quads is new and they didn’t have a tourney mode for it so it was allowed since they spawned.

Well it is a rule that heat shields are banned in other apex tournaments, no usually about it; they don’t even spawn in ALGS and other events. Hal probably just assumed this tournament was the same.

Usually in the trios tournament rules, heat shields were disabled, but since it was quads (which is a new game mode) there was no tournament mode, so heat shields couldn't be disabled, therefore "free use".
