So true! Even earlier than that. Elementary school kids are often horribly cruel and it frequently wounds people for life because a young kid has a smaller frame of reference or experience.

And sometimes the people who spread the word may be the type who can't get along with the idol they're working for/with so I always take such rumors with a pinch of salt as I'm only an outsider looking in. But yes it's not the first time I hear about idols being unfriendly. There was a former rookie idol who also mentioned about this before but even she didn't spill names 😉

Yeah, you can't really help but be curious. Personally I don't think it's any of our business as we never interact with these people. Everyone is rude or disrespectful at some point so it's kind of an unfair way to judge when you're from the outside. Plus, some staff might just not like someone for whatever reason and just say that to make them look bad. I don't know. 🤷‍♀️

I know there's a lot of hate directed towards them in the past few years, but they learn from their mistakes, and people would just refuse to forgive them, which sucks. The way they treated their junior it is the proof how nice they are. Like NCT they treat DBSK like respected senior, but Suju is more like parents for them. Annoyingly some of ntczens didn't respect them.

@@chaizan9733 just recently, Kyuhyun got bashed just because he accidentally liked a post on twitter about marriage in right order. It was month ago post from a random person. Then an exo fan started a ruckus over that post accusing kyuhyun of shading chen when the fact is there was no name being mentioned on that post. When that happened other fans started bashing kyuhyun and created a hashtag Kyuhyun Out on twitter. That fan who started all the drama called him plastic (fake) friend. Some posts from others were so below the belt like, Kyuhyun don't deserve to live and should die during his accidentq. Some brought up the past issues with goo hara and jessica. It was terrible... Others brought up Sungmin being shaded too by Kyu and lastly not only Kyuhyun got bashed but all Super Junior. 😡 Kyuhyun was informed about the matter and he clarified that it was all accidental and didn't even remember that he liked that post because he don't use SMS often. I really hope Kyuhyun follow Heechul's footsteps and sue those haters especially those who wish him death. To be fair, some fans admitted their mistake and apologized but unfortunately they were overshadowed by those irrational ones.

as an ELF i was so so happy when BM mentioned SuJu they don’t deserve the amount of hate esp in Korea 😔

Shinhwa and SuJu have always been known to be among the friendliest and most supportive seniors. I remember when Shinhwa was running their own variety show and SuJu (together with SHINee) were their guests when these boys were just a couple of years into the industry. And when SuJu had their own variety show they featured rookie groups as well.

Secondly u might want to use a little more non biased words cuz I know for a fact that I wasn’t the only one offend by “One of those *smaller* sized groups that *think* *they’re* *all* *that* ” plz just keep an open mind in the future and have a nice day 🤗 Also it’s not *impossible* “ever getting as big as them” honestly I’m tired of hearing this ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE BTS isn’t the only group with TALENT their talent was just recognized faster by more people.

especially if you stan like big BIG idol groups. I likw bts and i admit that we really dont know much about them, im pretty sure ppl didnt know what was happening with seungri... especially so when the korean music industry is so closed and secretive. It really gives some room for my imagination to go explore some daaaark places lol😂😂😂

Chai Zan groups like BTS. People have only said good things about them. They talk about how respectful they are and how manner-full they are. Seniors that met them surprised by the way they greeted them. 90 degree bows. Honestly been a while and other celebs in the industry often talk about what BTS are like in real life. BTS image remains clean despite them being world stars now.

The thing about bts is that they show so much of their most unglamorous (but I find it cute lol) moments that it's to the point where they're either the most consistent actors (7 years of acting) I've ever seen, or - genuinely good guys. They don't go on variety shows & because of that they share a lot of personal content with their fans instead? So fans see bts exhausted after hours of air travel, or dressed like hobos wandering around hawaii. Or arguing. Like they're honest about the fact that they do fight and do argue but at the end of the day they're each other's family. Ahahaha sorry I got carried away with this longass essay but: i could always be wrong, but I'd like to think bts are 7 really good guys.

The artists that are rude to Matthew probably are jealous because he CAN say and behaves the way he wants unlike others who are like dolls with no souls and opinion. Also, not anyone can be as talent as he is, I mean he's the president of his own gang, has his clothing line, he produces his own music, dances like a god, is in a hella talented group, is loved overseas and now hosts a podcast with his close friends. Suju members are friendly. They have lots of friends even one of my favorite actor Choi Jinhyuk said this before that "he personally like super junior they're like his dongsaengs and that they're cool".

super junior ARE very kind and have a great reputation for supporting other artists (in AND out of sm) and being professional with their staffs. from greetings to manner hands to gifts & bonuses. other idols continuing to confirm this is true just makes it feel even better. shinhwa too!! i love to hear about kind seniors

Imagine having a really bad day and you just snap at one point during the day, and then people(staff) go around and spreading that you're a bad person. And then you're stuck with that image.. must suck to be a celebrity :/

4:22 this was exactly the same like an old article i once read about Hyesung Shinhwa, as a senior idol he always noticed abt that stuffs, and he said "There are idols who always greet people properly and also there are who dont. And then after a year or two, I never hear about those idol (the kind who are disrepectful) being active on the industry ever again, maybe their attitude is the reason why they are disband / not really have succesful career" I think this goes for every aspect in our life. Attitude matters the most. You can be skillful or simply the GOAT but if you dont support yourself with good attitude then it wont take long before you fail.

Super Junior is known as the most humble senior in the entertainment, like Leeteuk still give a 90 degree bow even to the junior.. All idols should take Suju as their role model

I noticed that this is the one podcast that has so many cuts when watching the actual video lol but I’m glad they have these talks cause it really puts things into perspective and makes them more human. I think it’s good to bring out the human side of celebrities cause a lot of times people look at them like they’re different entities or something

Both Hwayoung and her twin where on a variety show and they kept milking the situation years after the incident and still continued to act like the victim. Then several staff members they worked with grew tired of it and came forward with receipts, screenshots, etc. of their behavior and both their excuses when they got exposed was, "we were young then"

I was already enjoying this but when BM made a shoutout to Super Junior calling them nice and cool I was jumping on my bed with excitement *-* they are indeed super nice, humble and make everyone at ease! I remember when KARD was a guest on Super TV they were all enjoying the whole thing comfortably without the whole sunbae/hoobae etiquette

when they mentioned that staffs are the ones who spread ugly rumours about u I feel like this hits home to irene's case when staff or stylist can't remember shared that irene was super rude and the idol starts getting A LOT MORE hate for that but then remember what Matthew said that idols do get tired on a daily basis bc of their job and sometimes they're not in the mood but yeah, being an idol is such a risky job. u hv to literally pay attention to every single thing and word u do to avoid gossips.
