Nowadays that’s how all producers and rappers start. Influenced by something like this and start on a cracked version of Fl Studio. It’s not like you have to have a big studio to make music nowadays. Some of the biggest songs of the past decade were made by teenagers in their bedroom
When I first heard this song I thought it was gonna be an oldies type vibe I was like “ okay okay Mac I see you” than BAM the beat dropped and I got this internal feeling that I felt in a really long time, god this song is beautiful.

one of my favourite tracks off the album - as a producer myself it’s stressful seeing all these big dog producers use all these super expensive plugins but your track uses most of the same plugins as I use - so it’s awesome to see a hit song created with what I believe to be limited resources. amazing job man 👍

@@DISTR4CK so yeah, the days when producers where in the background and considered nothing are long long gone. People realized that producers makes most of the work. Sure, record producers don't want their name on the title but most edm guys do.
@jujasname
2 жыл бұрын
@@DISTR4CKNot really, only record producers. Record producers usually don't want their names on the title. Benny Blanco (who used to be a record producer) decided that he didn't wanted to be in the back anymore and now he's huge. But usually most edm producers will want their names on the title. And from 2010-now producers are taking over and aren't in the back. They put their names without crediting the singer which is amazing. Faded, Wake Me Up, Alone, Hey Brother, More Than You Know, and many many manyyyyy more songs.

Its insane how much work goes into making tracks, and also how you can make a full song from sampling a 40's jazz acapella band
I knew there was a reason this was my favorite track in circles!
I absolutely love this song, one of my favourites off the album. Looks like the youtube algorithm brought me all the way back to the start, circles.

When this album came out i was on probation and couldnt smoke. I had two or three weeks left to get off probation after this came out, so naturally I waited. Went to the youtube playlist and hit the SHIT out of my new bong i had put aside. Slowly got higher and higher like it was for the first time again, and i was diggin the record hard. THEN THIS SONG CAME ON, AND I WAS DANCIN. I WAS WALKING AROUND MY LIVING ROOM TRYNA LEARN THE HOOK AS HE SANG IT YAKNOW TRYNA SING ALONG WITH THIS TURNED UP ALL THE WAY I WAS SO HAPPY I WANTED TO CRY. Once he said “here to make it all better with a little music for youu” i started to tear up hard and then he said “devil on my doorstep bein so shady mmm dont trip, WE DONT GOTTA LET HIM IN” ive always related so hard to Macs music throughout his entire career as im sure many of you have too. Fuck the negatives. Give a hard thumbs up and smile back!!!! Miss you Mac, always will. Thank you for everything

I'll never forget where I was when I first heard circles...smoking blunt after blunt with my ex out in oregon :)
My favorite song to bump in the car, windows down, sunroof open and vibes flowin. One of those songs I feel compelled to play to anyone who hasn't heard it. Seeing the reaction when the beat drops is pure entertainment and punches right in the feels.
Word's can't express how grateful I am for you sharing this Disclosure. I remember hearing this as the album played, and feeling pure euphoria wondering who the hell produced it. It's a gift I'm beyond grateful for, to be able to see the project file. ❤️ Thank you.
I will never forget the very first time I listened to Blue World... did exactly what you had mentioned: turned headphones up for the intro and then BAM! Gave me absolute chills man! Much love and thank you for your work!
i love how Guy just straight up chats to the viewers like were all mates. Coolest/ best producer ever
Awesome! I had no idea Disclosure made the instrumental for Blue World! It's a bit like when you don't know when two celebs are related and when you find out you're like oh yeah duh they look alike. Now that i know these guys made Blue world I can tell it has Disclosure written all over it.
one of my favourite tracks off Circles. a very upbeat happy feel. you and Mac did incredible! RIP Mac.
I never realized how much was going on in the beat
I literally almost blew my speakers the first time I heard this track! Must of replayed it 3 or 4 times! Absolutely Classic!
There's something cathartic about these breakdowns, it's beautiful seeing how the magic/art was made. Big shoutout to Guy, Howard, and their whole team for putting these videos out I fw it 💯👍🏼

This is so weird yet so... i don't know how to describe it. Mac Miller is my favorite artist and i also like electronic music and just listened to and liked some Disclosure songs. Then i find out Disclosure was involved with Blue world. Two worlds coming together in an unexpected way. Thank you.

Love to see how you made it swing, instead of just putting everything tight in the grid. The swing feel gives it a natural touch and is a big big part of the track for me!
