great presentation! just some general notes from my experiences - regarding math: all the topics you mentioned are very important, but it's true that you can learn all the math as you go - you don't necessarily have to start from comp math and the math topics before trying cp (though I am under the impression that using aops and basic maths practice is more efficient) - I agree with everything you said on USACO Guide! It kind of bothers me that this is a resource that people recommend so heavily. Indeed, it provides some topics and maybe mediocre problems on them, but it really doesn't do that much to help from my experience (problem difficulties are wonky, it's not even an end all be all, etc.) - i dont think you need to use USACO problems sparingly. just treat them the same as other problems. It's not like the current problems are that much better. So long as your practice methods don't "waste" problems, it is not really possible to waste them so long as you gain something from the problem solving process. - Cool to see that your club is really active (lots of applause at the end xd) wish yall luck
