I’ve caught some fish strolling the freeloader but it’s hands down the best trailer you can have for just about any bait. I’ve caught tons of quality fish using it as a spinnerbait/bladed jig trailer as well as on an underspin jighead for spotted bass

Congratulations on your win. I was down there on vacation during the tournament but i was there to crappie fish. I kept my boat at Sunset Marina. I also ate the bisquit breakfast sandwhiches at that Exxon, killer.

I caught by PB largemouth last Monday on a freeloader off the bottom in 12' of water with 10' visibility; 6 lb 9 ounces here in Colorado. Stoked to get my hands on the mooch when it comes out.

Congratulations on your win. I am a die hard crappie man and presentation is everything. Have you ever tried a loop not on your minnow baits ? It allows a lot more movement in the bait and especially on a vertical presentation the bait hangs horizontally / or more naturally. You more thank likely know these things. I am just old fishermen thinking out loud.

Mr. Ben Franklin actually I do have ffs I prefer traditional fishing real fishing, just like what Bill lowan said on Chris zaldains podcast he said you can’t use live bait in tournaments. He said ffs is more effective than using live bait you know the fish is there just a matter of getting them bite and if they don’t, you just go onto the next one you see you’re probably a younger person you just don’t get it

@@somehuman119that is a great point and you are 100% correct ffs is boring for the fans and the ratings and sponsors help pay those big payouts….i do believe it would be different if every Tom, Dick and Harry could afford that technology as well even down to the club and local tournament level. But I just left the lake today and saw three different teenage boys with $80K + boats that mom and dad bought them and I’m betting those boys can play video games real well too. An old country boy that grew up on a farm fishing out of a Jon boat has no chance against those kids fishing those tournaments later in life.

Jacob Wheeler if you cared about fishing you guys would stop giving Boyd and the MLF tour a bunch of money and all you anglers come together and make 1 tour and complete for millions instead of 100,000. In my opinion if all anglers came together all sponsors would be on board and come with you guys. The fisherman are the heartbeat of fishing not these tour owners and or tour presidents. This is how pro fishing is going to grow.

They should start wearing oculus while using FFS. Then the anglers won’t have to hunch over. AI will ALWAYS WIN. Either watch it evolve or be a hater. We all think haters are annoying.

I’m going to respect your few but you made a stupid comment. Every one is using FFS, but the guy understanding the conditions and fish patterns the best in the group won the competition. I am pretty sure and convinced that Mr Wheeler can win a competition without FFS.

Man I really like Jacob but it’s getting really hard to support guys that refuse to condem FFS. You all know it is awful for the sport.
