How I used Anki to score a 527 on the MCAT
This is how I used Anki to score a 527 (100th percentile) on the MCAT. It's free and you gotta use it.
The MCAT, or Medical College Admissions Test, covers the pre-med fundamentals needed for medical school, including physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, psychology, sociology, and critical reasoning (CARS).

This is a super useful video Danny. I struggled with Anki a lot. But you made it all clear!
You’re awesome 💯. Was struggling on how to use anki for the past 2 months. Now I can do it easily. Thanks 👍🏽
So grateful for your generosity. These videos are so useful and amazing in their format. So appreciate you!!!

Hi Danny, thank you so much, I learned a lot! Was wondering if you could do a video on how to succeed on the CARS section as most people struggle with this section. Thank you!
Thank you for the video! It was little blurry when you were zooming into Anki.
Amazing video! I'd like to point out instead of typing out the cloze definition, you can actually highlight the word/phrase that you want to use for the cloze function, then click on the button "[...]" to do the brackets for you :)

dude awesome video. as for unsuspending cards, do you unsuspend a "chapter" after you've done the kaplan chapter? so by the end of the books you've "unsuspended all the decks?" or, do you suspend them again? also, when you're doing anki after reading a chapter for example, and you "unsuspended a chapter of cards, will all of those cards show up to be learned if I have the same settings of 100 new cards a day? THANKS :))) hope those questions made sense!

exactly, I unsuspend a chapter at a time so by the end they are all unsuspended. You'll have to set your # of new cards a little higher since some of the chapters have over 100 cards.
Did you add into the extra spaces for each Anki card in Anking v2 deck? (I saw they have options for lecture notes, etc.)

Check Library Genesis for the Kaplan books. All the 2023-2024 ones are there
what's your max interval?
Hello! Is this the Anking version with Mr Pankow in it as well?

I'm only able to download one card out of the 2,800+ anki deck is there a workaround for this? Thank you for the video!

What’s the app link for iOS? There’s so many anki apps. Is it free?
If using Kaplan, would you recommend just one chapter/day during the content review phase?
@dannyjli

I did content review while doing UWorld and did 2 chapters a day. I would keep your content review phase as short as possible and get to practice problems asap. That probably means more than one chapter a day.

@@dannyjli Thanks for responding. How many uWorld q's would you do during your content review phase? I'm also trying to incorporate uWorld but I don't want to overwhelm myself with resources

@@Christina-wz1nd definitely be careful about overwhelming urself - I burned out multiple times during the process. At my peak I was doing 120 questions a day, 4 days a week. 1 day for FL practice test, 1 day for review, one for rest. But I slowly loaded it - I started off by doing 2 sets of 20qs a day then 2 sets of 30 qs a day and so on until I was doing 4 sets of 30. Thank you for the video. Just downloaded the V2 deck but for some reason there are no tags. So I am basically unable to unsuspend the cards by chapter. Anyone else experiencing that? How could I fix it?

For reviews specifically, and check out the deck in the description - the cards are very simple, you can get through 6-10 in a minute.
