I went against the No Till strategy most people use and tilled my garden. But I did it because this soil is literally trash. I found so much trash in this soil it needed to be tilled. Here is How I use a Tiller to till my lawn to a garden.

Thanks! I appreciate it! Yeah, i feel like most people show doing this stuff as a weekend project but really it's a 1-2 month project! haha
Do you have to pull out the grass afterward, so it won't grow again?

My plan is to put a tarp over the area so it doesn’t grow back but you could rake out the grass as well.

I also used a sod cutter on this area so the grass will come back much less than a regular lawn would if I tilled.
