The Uber driver on the phone while you are in the car is not cool. You did right by canceling the ride. In Uber and Bolt, you can ask for Luxury or Economy during hailing and before confirming the service. You always have the choice on the App. AC means more fuel consumption on the urban roads

@@adachoplife I wonder why many people from Nigeria make fuss about AC issues in Ghana taxis, when that does not even bother someone from a cold or temperate zone living in Ghana? I just wonder why an African would make this an issue? Now that the Nigerian govt has taken away fuel subsidy, will Nigerian taxi drivers continue to offer that cool luxury to passengers free nonetheless? I Just want to know. Humility will carry you far in Ghana, fellow Nigerians!! Another thing that does not seem fit in your story is the taxi windows in a rolled-up position... in the absence of the AC?
