OMG so helpful! I bought a special pillow to prevent stiff necks, but it’s very low profile. I just realized that’s when the low energy started. I had liver cancer and was sleeping so much I developed impinged hips and shoulders, which prevented me from sleeping on my side. Sleeping on my back, with a low profile pillow has been my problem. Thank you thank you thank you so much for taking the time to explain this! I just wanna add, when I was at the doctor’s today, with tears in my eyes, I told her that except for the pain of surgery, what I’m going through now is far worse than anything I felt when I had liver cancer.

I had all the symptoms you’ve mentioned, fast heart rate, high blood pressure, anxiety and trouble sleeping. Ever since then I developed this HUGE fear for doctors bc I’m afraid of my blood pressure and anxiety. Although I’ve been so much better the fear and anxiety is still there and hope to overcome with the grace of god! Any tips of how to stop mouth breathing, like breathing excercises I can try. I know for a fact I’m a mouth breather. As a matter a fact everytime I take my bp and I stop mouth breathing and take deep breathes it lowers drastically! God bless u for all the info

I have sleep apnea, disgnosed it years ago. I actualy bought a CPAP, tried all different masks, different pillows, different everything and I still could not make myself get used to using it. Because the mask would lose the seal if I slept on my side I had to sleep on my back, BUT isn't that one of the causes of sleep apnea? I couldn;t sleep on my side no matter what I tried even though that is my natural way of sleeping. Even though I had a humidfier on the machine the airflow woud dry out my sinuses making it more difficult to breath. Dealing with cleaning the damn thing was a huge pain in the ass.I felt like all was doing is eating, sleeping, working and maintaining my CPAP and I really wasn;t feeling any better or sleeping any better, though many times I pulled the mask off my fce/head and threw as far as the tubing allowed without ever waking up I would just wake up and find it on the floor.

Hi! 🙋‍♀This medication is not available in Europe. I'm a bit confused with your videos...? You say that you don't want to medicate symptoms but get to the root of the problem and heal that, yet you use medication for everything? I'm trying to find true natural ways to cure the root of the problems. Are you taking the medication just to help out and prevent major damage in the interim till you get the root cause cured, or do you take the meds longterm? Especially the HPB meds? And what HBP meds do you take and how much? I am currently in the range of HBP you had! Thanx for ttthe back-sleeping tip! I sleep like that! Had to after a major op, but can change it now, so will do that. Not understanding that you discovered that sleep apnea/lack of oxygen caused your massive HBP....you corrected that, but still need to take HBP meds? can you please explain that? That seems to mean that the sleep apnea/lack of oxygen was not the cause of the hbp......?

The problem with telling people to lose weight to help with their sleep apnea is that it's a catch22. It's very difficult, if not impossible, to lose weight while you have sleep apnea. If your sleep is frequently interrupted (like with sleep apnea) your metabolism is going to be very VERY low. Your ability to burn fat and properly digest your calories is not going to be good. On top of that our natural instinct when we are extra tired is to EAT. FOOD = FUEL. When we're super tired our brains think we need more fuel. The more you snack the more you eat the more weight you gain. The more weight you gain, the WORSE your sleep apnea gets. The worst your sleep apnea gets, the harder it is to lose weight. Catch22.

Trying this tonight. How about exercising? I walk about 5 miles daily and I did try breathing only through my nose while walking but it was kinda difficult. Not impossible but difficult. I'm assuming that you recommend breathing through the nose while exercising as well, correct?

Hi Brazillai, thank you for your recent comments. You are correct, breathing only through your nose while exercising is important to. If it’s difficult for you, consider seeing an ENT doctor. Just to make sure that you do not have any obstruction blocking your air ways. We are also posting a new video regarding this topic later this week. Thank you again. NDX Testing.

Hi Katherine , the nose clips below , in my opinion work the best. Silicone material you can wash and reuse. I Also clean with alcohol after I use it. But remember to sleep on the side elevated position and breathe through your nose never through the mouth. You can also keep the respiratory tract lubricated to avoid snoring by consuming extra virgin olive oil before sleeping. That will help you sleep and breathe smooth. I will soon have better congenial videos on this topic. Take care. NDX Testing. www.amazon.com/Breathing-Relief-Nasal-Dilator-Breathers/dp/B07T12ST21

Ive done a mix of these things but its difficult for me to keep the good habits. 1) Drink water when youre thirsty. 2) Make sure you pay attention to your vitamin and mineral levels - Vit Bs, D, K2, Omega 3s, magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, digestive enzymes, etc. 3) Sugar. Wonderful treat but horrible if you overconsume it, which almost everyone does. Overdoing sugar can cause so many problems. If your gut bacteria are a mess, your body can be a mess. Reducing sugar drastically, for me, reduced my anxiety and joint pain. Sugar is a slow brutal beating on your organs. 4) Good quality Sleep. Easier said than done for those who suffer insomnia and apnea, but aim for this and be patient. 5) Breathing. Pay attention to your breathing. When you sleep you cant be mindful of breathing, so seek assistance in knowing how youre breathing. Record yourself. Change your posture. Get a Cpap. Try some things. When you think about it, youve suffered long enough. What have you got to lose by changing some things?

You lost my interest when you made the weight comments! Trust me, I am now 68 and as a younger woman in my 30's I was diagnosed with severe OSA. I am 5"2" and at the time slim and under 130#. I was teaching at the time and after trying the CPaP and suffering worse exhaustion, I couldn't continue as it was affecting my work. Plan B was seeing an ENT and they suggested UUUP. Of course my insurance wouldn't cover the laser assisted, which would have been less painful and downtime allowing me to return to work sooner. I had about 1 year of decent sleep, but sadly the apnea returned. I had another sleep study and this time was given a BiPap machine. I had the same results as the first time and couldn't perform at work while attempting to sleep with a machine. In between 2 more studies and attempts at different masks, I purchased 1000's of dollars of alternative contraptions. Nasal strips, chin straps, tongue device like an adult pacifier, dental guards made through my dentist office, a device that clips over your ear and creates a vibration that you calibrate to sync with your phone, it vibrates when you stop breathing as an alert. The only thing it did for me was graph how crappy my sleep was, rarely getting into deep REMS sleep. My weight has started to climb, BP is up and this is all due to being exhausted from sleep apnea. So please don't make it about weight, this has caused my non existent metabolism. I was extremely active, taught aerobic dance before becoming a school teacher, played tennis, danced, loved exercising, bike riding, volleyball, swimming, etc. Now I am tired from the moment I wake up and plan many activities around my nap, it's depressing, frustrating and I've given up on any miracle cure. I still look for the magic elixir, but I don't feel much hope for myself.

Hi Cindy, thank you for your recent comments. Just came out of a meeting and saw your post. So sorry about the comments. Truth of the matter , the medical industry makes it about weight. That’s why it was mentioned. When I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Doctors were perplexed since I was 5’9 “ 170 lbs. my problem came from years of mouth breathing and developed an overbite. Having an overbite and mouth breathing was causing much damage to my health. Once I discovered the problem. I made a complete U-turn. And started breathing through my nose while sleeping. I feel 100% and my sleep apnea went away.. In summary mouth breathing and having an overbite can develop into sleep apnea. Nothing to do with weight for me. You have to find out your root cause. Really sorry again. Wish you the very best. Do not give up. Thrust me there is a reason and a solution for every problem. My recent video on the channel might help. We are not born with sleep apnea, We somehow develop it. Trust me we can also get rid of it. It’s about understanding where the problem is coming from. A future video will place emphasis on decoding sleep apnea with the help of a top hospital in Switzerland. Thank you. Luis, NDX Testing.

Hi Jim, thank you for your recent comments. it's very important to have proper tongue posture when having symptoms of sleep apnea. Mouth breathing while sleeping should be avoided to prevent the tongue from obstructing the airway. Companies like www.somnifix.com have good information on the benefits of mouth tape. Check out author James Nestor on KZread. He is very educated when it comes to the art of breathing. Thank You, NDX Testing....
