Hi mind me asking few questions. 1. What kind of documents needed before go to Australia? 2. Do we still need to quarantine during this time? 3. how the process goes before you go there, i mean what to do..

So this may be a basic qn but just wanted to know …what about your arrangements for accommodation,transport and etc. how did you manage to arrange them and all the other facilities, moving on from IMU to ANU ? Also did you travel with your other batch mates going to the same university as you under the PMS program since y’all are going to the same place?

I travelled there alone, I lived in airbnb for 2 weeks while also finding a suitable accommodation here, from my personal experience, it's better to inspect the place and get to know the landlord or the people who live in the house before moving into the house. For transport wise I just took the taxi or walk whenever I need it before I settle down.

Hi Jeffrey, Here's a list of the documents I submitted when I was applying for the travel exemption: - IMMI Grant Notification (y - Passport - Letter Of Offer from university - Supporting Letter from university

Did you have to pay the quarantine $3000 immediately? Like on the day of arrival

nope, an invoice will be sent to your email a few months after quarantine, you don't have to make any payment until then

i am Commerce student in edith cowan university in perth. i mailed yesterday to my university but they denied me to give any supporting documents. i am fresh student can i get exemption??

From my experience, usually those student with existing placements in hospital in australia will get the exemptions (nursing, medical and dental student).

Hi Katherine, under individual exemption, I couldn't find an option for international students with a alid clinical placement. Can I apply under compelling or compassionate reason?

@@alphychacko8332 i guess you could cause I applied through there as well, just make sure you upload a supporting letter stating that you have a placement in Australia from your university :)

yeah, if you have a placement in some hospital the chances of getting the exemption are higher

took me 2 weeks to apply it, only waited for about a week to get the approval

May i know ur spm result? Bcs my target like 5A is it possible to go abroad i guess not

yes you can still try to do well in your pre-u program and apply to go overseas with your pre-u results

If you already have a clinical placement in one of the hospital in Australia, try to ask a supporting letter from your university proving that you're going to need attend the clinical placement. Attach them together with your visa grant when applying your travel exemption :)
