In this video I attempt to make the most overpowered swordsman in kenshi, playing in a bandit swordsman style. I travel around the world of Kenshi, fighting strong opponents, buying (or looting) the best gear, and getting involved with the different factions of Kenshi.
This video is part of a small "universe" where I will create a team of overpowered characters who have the same goal of becoming the strongest characters in the Kenshi universe.

Kenshi is a free-roaming squad based RPG focusing on open-ended sandbox gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave, or just food for the cannibals.
Research new equipment and craft new gear. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.
Freeform gameplay in a seamless game world in the largest single-player RPG world since Daggerfall, stretching over 870 square kilometers. The game will never seek to limit you or restrict your personal play style.
Custom design as many characters as you want and build up a whole squad to fight for you. Characters will grow and become stronger with experience, not just in their stats but their appearance too.
Build a base where you can research new technologies, upgrade your defences and craft new gear.
Original take on the RTS-RPG hybrid genre. No "hero" characters with artificially stronger stats than everybody else- Every character and NPC you meet is potentially an equal, and has a name, a life.
You are not the chosen one. You're not great and powerful. You don't have more 'hitpoints' than everyone else. You are not the center of the universe, and you are not special. Unless you work for it.

Your kenshi videos have gotta be my favourite out of all your content. I've been watching since the bandits series and I've loved every other series that you've made on the game.
That was cool of you to bandage your fellow wandering swordsman. You just run into each other on the road and decide to test your skills together and he ends up bloodied and maybe dying and you've been there a hundred times before, so you do him a kindness and make sure he at least lives to tell tall tales of the mystical swordmaster he fought that day.
You're thinking of the Snake Way, the path that leads to King Kai after death. The first time he goes, it takes multiple episodes for him to reach the end.

I reccomend upping your assassination to 90 then stealth to 100 just to kidnap one of armor king's thrals. Use it as a training prisoner by sparring. Just reaserch the skeleton repair bed, bed and the cage. The stats for the thralls are insane so get one.
I love the solo swordsman kenshi playthrough. Gotta be cautious with getting yourself hurt and such, but damn, once your skills start getting up there, you become a god. Last time I ended up with masterwork samurai armor and various other things, Nodachi for most opponents, Heavy polearm for armored enemies, katana for indoors. Absolutely unstoppable. When I started building a company around him he was basically the Ace, if he was around, I was rarely concerned, if a squad was off on an expedition while he was off doing solo business, I suddenly had to be careful. But slowly, steadily, other heroes arose in the ranks and could be ascended to something close to his status. Started to get a kind of ranking Hierarchy of Elite Samurai (which could be heavily or lightly armed) to swordsmen/footmen and crossbowmen.

Waiting for the revenge arc where King is challenged to a rematch by that random bugman he trained into a demigod swordsman on accident.
I'm honestly surprised you didn't know about the armor king. He's a bitch to get to, but even in vanilla he'll be your best friend if you don't want to craft your own armor, and there are a couple weapon mods where he sells the meitou version (specifically the magari yari and tonbo axe mods by Space_Lettuce_OG, which I recommend if you are a fellow polearm enjoyer)
If Simo doesn't name his mercenary group "The Band of the Hawk" i'll be disappointed jk

aye brother I remember the DBZ episodes you're talking about, he was running on snake way after he died. it's a path above hell that leads to a star I guess. King KI lives on a small planet that imprisoned Bojack. Goku ran for so many episodes and then when the training was done he speed ran it to get back to earth to fight off Vegeta and Nappa

The K sword is perfect storytelling
The best place to buy weapons is actually The Scrapyard in Black Desert City basically the highest quality weapons that aren't Meitou grade can be bought there. Want a Tier 3 Edgewalker Fragment Axe or a Tier 3 Edgewalker Falling Sun just go to Black Desert City. I think for my Kenshi Martial Arts playthrough I started as Skeleton and if you want to be a more humanoid species Hivers can also technically live in that area and not be damaged by Acid, so technically the weakest species in terms of health, Hivers can pretty much access the best equipment in the game, Skeletons are obviously the strongest in terms of health so they just get even stronger being able to access that equipment more easily.

Never seen some of that clothing/armor. Is this modded or most KZreadrs go for the same gear?
The dianium thieves mod was rough. The weapons were decent, but i couldn't find them all tbh. I think alot of them get stuck or just die to the environment.
When you op characters are at their strongest will they clash?

King should fight Beast when they meet, then after some brotime they will be the unstoppable duo
Goku has to run snake way it starts in ep 6 I think and ends in like ep 18 or 19. He goes to train with king Kai after piccolo kills him fighting raditz in the sayain saga.
He will team up with the martial artist.
