    One thing I forgot to mention is that in my notes, I use a mechanism to differentiate between client vs internal team actions / questions etc. I try to do it by colour but sometimes it's just too difficult to swap pens so sometimes write a 'C' against client specific stuff :) PS: My Invisalign is in....can you tell?

    Wow! That was, by far, the most efficient video on meeting note taking I have ever seen! Not only did you teach me a system of note taking that was easily learned in about five minutes, you actually gave tips that provided me with insight into what to say during an upcoming interview for an executive assistant position that I would truly love to land. Thank you! You certainly have a new subscriber!

    hey @kajol, it's a great video. I totally agree with you, we shouldn't write everything but few key highlights only and categorize them properly. But being honest, keeping two dairies along with multiple pens and use all of them at the same time while focusing on meeting, doesn't sound like a too much trouble???

    Hey Irina. Actually, the desk is 15 years old! It came with the house, the owner was a builder and made it from scratch. I defo would recommend an electronic standing desk so you can stretch legs too :) Omg amazing - have you tried IKEA? I've found some awesome KZread videos which customise them to make them look prettier :)

    This video shows how to take notes in business meetings using paper & pen. I read somewhere that it is rude & not always possible to take notes in business meetings using laptop or tablet. Is this true? I am a newbie & I am familiar with taking class notes on tablet using apps. But why business world still choose paper & pen?

    a very dumb question - how do you decide which sized notebooks to use? I still love A4 but am the only one the bring the clunky thickest A4 in. The small bound black notebooks look so professional but :( makes writing difficult

  • @KajolPhadnis

    @KajolPhadnis

    3 жыл бұрын

    I know, it's so tough. When I joined work I used to take in an A4 but realised that it was just too big and clunky to take everywhere. Most people take an A5 because it's just easier to carry. I would just say that do what makes you comfortable and most easy to write etc. I've gotten used to writing in an A5 and realise it's the quality of the paper which makes it easy for me to write or not :)

    If I was so good at remembering everything, I wouldn't be watching this video. You have too complex of a method while the speakers speak at their own pace, which is often fast. It is so hard to put down the gist of message when information is tevhnical or have complex procedural step. How do you then takes notes? You dont. You just listen and absorb info. Listen iintently so you can remember as much info as possible
