    @@Nccoffeegirl80 You can pray to God before starting, and sometimes you need to go beyond a little and deny yourself, and you can think it this way, through reading the Bible the Lord God can communicate to me much easier (since you'll be able to recognize His voice more clearly and He can use His own words to communicate to you), He can replenish my soul, I'll be equipped when the enemy comes trying to steal my joy and peace, He can increase my faith in Him, I can know the Lord God through His word, and I can read the word of the God, not just any word, the only living God words. Hope that Helps you :) Godbless!

    eshaarawi youtube I’m slightly confused by this comment. I’m Christian and I have never drank alcohol. You’re referring to Catholics who are allowed to drink alcohol. I don’t focus on the contradictions, I focus on a relationship with God. I hate religion but I love God and the fact that I can experience his presence and love towards me, is enough for me to believe in the Bible ❤️ God bless

    @@sarayen4427 Hey, peace be upon you! I think that brother made a claim about the current situation of most Christians. I live in a country, I would consider Christian, and everyone here drink alcohol. I like that you have read your scripture because in it, it does say that you should not drink alcohol. With more contradictions I would guess he would say that you shouldnt have pork either. I assume he would also mention that in the Bible it says that the Earth was created before the Sun. I would also say trinty, which isnt mentioned in the Bible. I agree, a relationship with God is really important but why would you hate religion? You could think about it as a manuscript. We, as humans are not perfect and need guidance. I ask you to find a controdictian in the Quran with modern, established science, and I would deeply consider (aka. convert tbh) whichever religion or way of life you would say. I dont want to sound rude and if I did I deeply ask for forgiveness. God Bless!

    @sarayen4427

    Abdullah Abdullah Hi God bless you as well! You’re not at all offending me; in fact, I’m always interested in hearing others’ perspectives and questions. Some people eat pork and others don’t, It’s a personal preference. I did hear that pigs used to be kind of dirty back them and eating them would sort of make individuals impure. But now, with so many methods used to care for and clean the animals, some don’t mind eating pork. In Genesis 9:3 God basically tells us that he provided much of everything for us to eat. There are some animals we’re not allowed to eat like bats etc.... but pork as food was not mentioned among them. Yes, we believe that the Earth was created before the light. The trinity is mentioned in John 1:1 and Matthew 28:19.The reason I say I hate religion is because to me, It’s more than going to church every day, praying, and wearing specific types of clothing. Anyone can do these things and automatically submit to religion, but not everyone can truly be right with God. However, I do try to go to Church often, pray as often as I can, and dress modestly to walk in the example of Christ and improve my relationship with him 🙂 I’ve never read the Quaran but I’ve had Muslim friends that have mentioned how Men are permitted to have other wives to eliminate the chances of cheating. The other thing that’s a little bit confusing for me is the praying 7 times a day. I just want to say that I truly admire the commitment and consistency Muslims have of doing the right thing before God. I personally think that If I pray 1,2 or even three times a day; as long as I pray a good prayer with a humble and obedient heart, I am trusting that God will accept my prayer and not punish me for not praying any less. I hope that you understand some of the confusing thoughts I have. I also hope my response is not at all offensive for you, I’m also here to learn. 🙂

    Breaking News 2 fragments discovered in a cave of the book of Nahum and a book of Zachariah both with 2 verses but written in Greek not Hebrew. Except for the Tetragrammaton letters in Hebrew representing God's name. Wow!!! Not changed to Lord or God, how exciting is that to know it was thought of as important at this time to preserve the actual name of God Almighty. Wouldn't it be safe to say 'its important to make known God's name especially where it is referenced from the old to the New Testament? Like here in Luke 4:16-21. Did Jesus care about making that name known 🤔??? “I Have Made Your Name Known” “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. . . . I have made your name known to them and will make it known.”-JOHN 17:6, 26. What It Means: Jesus made known God’s name by using it in his ministry. When Jesus read from the Scriptures, as he often did, he would have pronounced God’s personal name. (Luke 4:16-21) He taught his followers to pray: “Father, let your name be sanctified.”-Luke 11:2. How Early Christians Measured Up: The apostle Peter related to the older men at Jerusalem that God had taken out of the nations “a people for his name.” (Acts 15:14) The apostles and others preached that “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13) They also used the divine name in their own writings. The Tosefta, a collection of Jewish laws completed by about 300 C.E., says regarding the burning of Christian writings by opposers: “The books of the Evangelists and the books of the minim [thought to be Jewish Christians] they do not save from a fire. But they are allowed to burn where they are, . . . they and the references to the Divine Name which are in them.” Who Fit the Pattern Today? The Revised Standard Version of the Bible, authorized by the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States, says in its preface: “The use of any proper name for the one and only God, as though there were other gods from whom he had to be distinguished, was discontinued in Judaism before the Christian era and is entirely inappropriate for the universal faith of the Christian Church.” Thus, it replaced the divine name with a title, “LORD.” More recently, the Vatican directed its bishops: “In songs and prayers the name of God in the form of the tetragrammaton YHWH * is neither to be used or pronounced.” Who today use and make known God’s personal name? When Sergey was a teenager in Kyrgyzstan, he watched a film that identified God’s name as Jehovah. For some ten years, he did not hear the divine name again. Later, after Sergey had moved to the United States, two of Jehovah’s Witnesses visited him at his home and showed him God’s name in the Bible. Sergey was thrilled to find a group that used the name Jehovah. Interestingly, under the entry “Jehovah God,” Webster’s Third New International Dictionary gives the definition “a supreme deity recognized and the only deity worshiped by Jehovah’s Witnesses.” [Footnote] ^ par. 5 In English, the divine name is commonly transliterated as “Jehovah.”

    Finding your channel was truly a supernatural event. I had literally just glided over this passage in the Bible before feeling like I was to look up Bible studies online. I had missed the significance of these texts because I was more focused on what I could do for Him rather than what He was doing in His Word. I love how you mark up your Bible and write such detailed notes. You really know how to teach and help people find the fullness in God’s messages to us. You have helped me find the AWE in His passages again.

    The Lord said he heard your words but said you find it hard to stay on a steady course. He said the things you do are negligent of what he said you should do or be doing. He said you have even grown to ignore the Heavenly Father when He chastens you by the letter of the law that says 'don't do that bc it is not right'. Here is his Word for you to test out with patience. (jas.1:4.) He said start reading the bible from Gen. to Rev. no matter how long it takes. A little every day. This gets the Heavenly Father's attention when you do it and set aside sins. (Duet.17:19.) He said when you do that to study certain words with a concordance (Youngs or Strongs which is for beginners - ESword.com too) and he (the Lord) will help you (II Tim.2:15.) by being your Author and Finisher of your faith. Without doing these two you cannot have strong faith and will waver when the temptation comes to sin. Remember sin is a lot like sex urges. If you leave them alone they will go away. You must repent and be contrite and He will visit - Isa.65:15.

    Rose Lilly you are mistaken, because there are lots of side notes and scribbles in the original scrolls of the New Testament. The physicality of the Christian scripture is not like in Islam. You can write down stuff into your bible without it being a sin. As long as you don’t disrespect it or change what’s been already established and written by the early church.

    I think I saved this video about 3 years ago when I wasn’t serious (not consistent) (grew up in the church but I’ve been lukewarm and struggled to believe Christ for myself and not because of my family) with my walk with God, but the video still stood out to me so I saved it. Toward the end of 2021 I decided I didn’t want to do life the way I was anymore, and I was convinced that my way wasn’t what was best for me and my loved ones around me. Following Christ for real has been the hardest journey of my life and these last 7 months have felt like hell lol, but for once I decided to keep going instead of giving up and falling into my habitual sin cycle. I finally watched this video a few days ago and it inspired me. I also watched others where your mom answered questions for 20 something’s and your guide to highlighting the Bible. I have been so inspired. I started highlighting in my Bible and it felt weird but then I felt so free and was actually having fun during devotion. I shared the highlighting video with my book club. I usually don’t leave comments like this but I really wanted to let y’all know how much your channel has encouraged me! And I hope my comment encourages you! ♥️♥️♥️

    Noel Hausler - So we should listen to the limited understanding of scholars whose lifespan is but 100 years or less, and forget the scriptures which survived through millenniums? Jericho fell long ago, and to look for any evidence and use it against scripture is foolish; even archaeology has its limits. We can’t expect the destroyed ancient cities to be in the same destructive state they were in. Time has passed, but God’s word is still alive and prospering.

    I experience the same problem too, Im 16 yrs old and my studies are sometimes eating my time for bible reading and I end up getting sad and guilty. BUt my mom told me that in reading the word of God, you should be free of things that are bothering you and reading should not be a burden because if you feel like reading the bible is hard, we need to stop and rewind for a while. So, now I don't really have a definite schedule in reading the bible, when I feel like the Holy Spirit is telling me to read I will, the goal is at least once a day but sometimes when i feel like the Spirit wants me to read more then I will read again.

Using the King James Version bible verses: _Here's a study that may help you in your studies._ _In Mark __7:13__ and Matthew 15:6 Jesus uses the phrase; _*_“the word of God”_*_ and the phrase; _*_“the commandment of God”_*_ interchangeable._ Mark 7:13 Making *the word of God* of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Matthew 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made *the commandment* of God of none effect by your tradition. _Thus it appears “the word of God” is “the commandment of God.” Here are some old testament verses in which seem to say the same thing:_ Numbers 15:31 Because he hath despised *the word of the LORD,* and hath broken *his commandment,* that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him. Psalms 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do *his commandments,* hearkening unto the voice of *his word.* Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive *my words,* and hide *my commandments* with thee; _In the above scriptures; the word[s] of God and the commandment[s] of God are one and the same._ John 1:14 And *the Word was made flesh,* and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. _Per John __1:14__, Jesus is God's word made flesh._ _The following is a scripture study that Jesus is the Word._ John 7:16 *Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.* _When Jesus spoke those words, he would have known (and still knows) that God's doctrine had long been established within the old testament scriptures._ _Within the same book of John, seven chapters later, Jesus says:_ John 14:6 *Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.* _When Jesus spoke the words; "I am the way, the truth, and the life..." Jesus would have known (and still knows) that God's doctrine of the way and the truth was already established in the old testament._ *The Way* is *the law* and *the commandments:* Psalms 119:32 I will run *the way* of *thy commandments,* when thou shalt enlarge my heart. Psalms 119:1 [...] Blessed are the undefiled *in the way,* who walk *in the law* of the LORD. Malachi 2:8 But ye are departed out of *the way;* ye have caused many to stumble at *the law;* ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. *The Truth* is *the law* and *the commandments:* Psalms 119:151 Thou art near, O LORD; and all *thy commandments are truth.* Psalms 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and *thy law is the truth.* _Jesus would have also known (and still knows) God's doctrine had already long been established as to how to obtain life._ Proverbs 7:2 *Keep my commandments, and live; and my law* as the apple of thine eye. Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: *keep my commandments, and live.* _When Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life; he would have known (and still knows) the old testament declared the way and the truth to be God's commandments and laws._ _Also Jesus would have also known (and still knows) the way to obtain life is by keeping God's commandments._ _Jesus would have known (and still knows) that he was (and is) saying that he is God's law and God's commandments and that he is eternal life and the only way to the Father._ _Jesus is God's words made flesh._ _Because it is indicated God made his commandments flesh, do (test) the following:_ _Read some of Jesus's sayings about himself and place “the word of God” which is “the ten commandments” (which are the words of the covenant, Exo __34:28__ & Deu __4:13__) into the very place where Jesus says “I” or “me.”_ _(Example: John __12:46__)_ *John **12:46** I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.* John 12:46 I _(the ten commandments)_ am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. _(Example: John 14:6)_ *John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.* John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I _(the ten commandments)_ am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (Example John 10:14) *John **10:14** I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.* John 10:14 I _(the ten commandments)_ am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. _It would appear that God made his Word (his commandments) flesh. But lets test this on something more difficult (John 14:9-12)._ John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have *I* been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known *me,* Philip? he that hath seen *me* hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:10 Believest thou not that *I am* in the Father, and the Father in *me?* the words that *I* speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in *me*, he doeth the works. John 14:11 Believe *me* that I am in the Father, and the Father in *me:* or else believe me for the very works' sake. John 14:12 Verily, verily, *I* say unto you, He that believeth on *me,* the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me _(the ten commandments),_ Philip? he that hath seen me _(the ten commandments)_ hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:10 Believest thou not that I _(the ten commandments)_ am in the Father, and the Father in me _(the ten commandments/the words of the covenant)?_ the words that I _(the ten commandments)_ speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me _(the ten commandments),_ he doeth the works. John 14:11 Believe me _(the ten commandments)_ that I am in the Father, and the Father in me _(the ten commandments):_ or else believe me _(the ten commandments)_ for the very works' sake. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me _(the ten commandments),_ the works that I _(the ten commandments)_ do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. _Question; How can anyone do greater works than Jesus as stated in this apparent riddle in John __14:12__?_ _Or; How can anyone do something greater than keeping the ten commandments?_ _Using the ten commandments as a light (Psa 119:105 & Pro __6:23__) we can see and understand the riddle (in John __14:12__) in the following way:_ *John **14:12** Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.* _However first look that this riddle seem contradictory to Jesus' statement in John __13:16__:_ *John **13:16** Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.* _Following up questions; How can anyone do anything greater did Jesus did when Jesus never sinned?_ _How can anyone do anything greater than keeping the ten commandments?_ _Pondering an Answer: Jesus never sinned. And we on the other hand, are sinners. We have to repent because we are sinners._ _Pondering Answers continued: Jesus never had to repent. Jesus never sinned therefore Jesus could never have any sins to repent of. Jesus cannot repent of sins._ John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me _(the ten commandments),_ the works that I do shall he do also _(he shall also keep the ten commandments);_ and greater works than these shall he do *_(repenting_*_ of not keeping the ten commandments);_ because I go unto my Father. _It would appear that “greater works” would mean further or go beyond._ _If this study is correct (using the ten commandments as a light) then what Jesus is saying is that he views repentance of sin as no mere small matter. In John __14:12__ he is saying repentance of sin is a very great thing; even greater (going beyond) what he himself had to do._ _Jesus is God's word made flesh. Further, Jesus is the new covenant in the flesh. Notice in Matthew __26:26__-28._ Matthew 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. Matthew 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of *the new testament,* which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28 “testament” G1242.) = covenant G1242 διαθήκη diathēkē dee-ath-ay'-kay From G1303; properly a disposition, that is, (specifically) a contract (especially a devisory will): - covenant, testament. Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of *the new [covenant]* which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

    Jarmy Fuzble like she said, you can believe what you want, but God is there. Hundreds of millions of people wouldn’t read a random book from 2 thousand years ago if it was for nothing, or if there was nothing there, that is my opinion. And one day maybe you will truly experience God, which is the best feeling in the universe. But that Is up to you. But let us be with our beliefs and ways of life, and we will do the same.

You make it easier for many of us that are trying to built a relationship with God. I sincerely thank you and will be here during your daily teachings. Never to late to begin. Born again Christian and I was learning so much n all into the word, my journey. I even experienced the Holy Spirit. It was fascinating and what a beautiful moment.
