I had a suspended sentence for theft at a bank I worked at, criminal record, I thought life was over. I slow built again, started first year varsity as a 25 year old, completed studies in food science, with faith and Gods mercy, I have a job, a good life. I received another chance

She gets My respect for loyalty to her husband.
I relate to the rejection part. Justice thanks for being super compassionate and understanding to every interviewee, it’s truly remarkable how you make them tell their stories an without an incline of judgement. And that’s why this is my favourite podcast!

Women take it lightly when we say that it's hard being a man. Even this gbv thing does not address the challenges in our society. Even we as men are afraid of the things that women are afraid of. I'm not judging her on her crimes but I can tell how empty she felt before and after stealing all that money. The emptiness is a consequence of living a life without God. No matter how much you rise in your career or how much money you acquire, there is still no happiness or fulfilment. Only God gives true happiness and peace not money. A life without God is aimless, you'll just be going around in circles.

The problem with people who steal is that they just plan up until the stage where they succeed with the stealing. They however fail to plan how to get away with their crimes. Iam happy you have accepted your wrongdoing (although this came after). Last month i dealt with someone that got 10 years imprisonment on fraud and 5 years on money laundering. She also refused to testify and just close her case.
I hope Lerato has learnt her lesson and will get a second chance and do better, and be better next time.
When you say deal with your debt it really heats me to the core.
Ausi lerato, that is very insightful, also try to spend time with God, allow him to direct you, to walk this journey with you, he is able to do exceedingly, abundantly and above what man can comprehend
Downgrading was the biggest fear....not optional.... But you will end up there anyway and even worse.. Advice for people to downgrade.. No crime in that..
