I am definitely someone who has these same struggles no matter how many "successes" I achieve and I think it's important to hear that from someone that I look up to and consider successful. This is great, but I’m not sure why you doubted yourself or why you would struggle with self confidence issues. Not to be rude, but you’re in an incredibly popular band that garners a ton of fans and people willing to support everything and anything a member of said band does. Not only that, but being a part of such a prolific band gives you way more connections than the average person, making starting your own company exponentially easier due to the access to people who already know what they’re doing and are willing to help. These are privileges and luxuries most people will never get. There are so many people who would love nothing more than to be in your position. Any business you start is statistically way more likely to be successful than the average person because of these factors. So the advice is beneficial, it’s worth knowing, but it doesn’t pertain to most of us, because most of us don’t have a platform to push off from. Most of us are in the mud barely able to move our feet.
