❤ very informative video , from Kolkata City , India . Thank you .
This is very inspirational. I am in a similar situation from when you started the agency. Just got laid off from my tech job and Really got thinking about the direction I wanted to go in my life. This is definitely something I can get into, that can be a bridge to my actual Software/Hardware company as a whole. Appreciate this video.

How do you handle marketing and social media channels, do one need a social media marketer in getting started and a website and which social media channel should one start with?
Steps 7 and 8 of the scaling plan are the keys to massive growth and scalability.

Do you think I could start an agency with purely contractors and free lancers, I have lots of sales experience and I understand bubble and other no code apps very well, I just can’t actually code or produce apps myself.
@Jakobowsky are you looking for outsourcing partners?
How to approach clients and where apart from networking events as a new software agency? Considering portfolio is weak for now

I found the easiest way to find your first few clients is your friends and family. When I started, I sent out an email to EVERYBODY on my contact list and I got my first client 7 days later. After that the word spread a bit. No question, networking helps to, but just letting people know you are available for hire can go a long way.
Jacob do software agency have performance based pay, like say email marketing or ads agency? If so on what basis the performance is given out

We don't really have this. However once we had a case where we had to deliver software in a very short period of time then we got the extra bonus. Anoter interesting case is to become affiliate partner of your client. For example you develop a software for our clients and help him distribute it. Then for every new paying user you get % :)

I'm based in Canada at started my Custom Software firm in 2014. The one thing I'd say that's a big advantage in starting a software business is there is very little you need to get going. I was worried about business registration, payroll, etc...but really, the main thing you need to get going is your first client. Everything else (business registration, incorporation, hiring, payroll, benefits etc.) I figured out as I went along. So my recommendation is just focus on getting that first client.
