    Excellent tutorial! TY! Know that there are more of us watching that do not know what to do than those who do. Learning from guys like you has helped me tremendously! Thanks again for your time!

    Thanks Neil, I was a Testors spray gut for years, had a airbrush and used a few times, never happy with the results just a trial and error type thing. Back in the day there was no KZread or anything for help except for books, after some time using different paints, found was working better and better, and here we are lol.. Thanks for watching and have a good one Neil!

    Your favorite part is my nightmare. I'm about to spray mcw for the first time on the 69 Camaro. That is why I went back to watch this video. Not only did you make me feel better about mixing the paint. But your technique was an eye opener for me. I have an Iwata with a non replaceable. 3 needle. But I also have a Gaahleri with a .3 and .5 I would have used the .5! Thanks for the information Kreg.

    Thanks Joe, for checking out the videos, I have always had people ask on the mixing, can deter a lot, plus if it's not mixed ok your results may be discouraging not knowing if you mixed it right or the way you sprayed it. Once you get using this your paints will get better and better, one of those, just have to do it things. I would like to pick up a Gaahleri one day.. Have fun with it! Have any questions give me a shout..

    Love the Mr. Leveling Thinner. But I'm using Tamiya Acryls. I've been tempted recently to try the MCW paints though. What grit of sandpaper are you using to scuff the plastic prior to paint or primer?

  • @kregskorner8851

    @kregskorner8851

    8 ай бұрын

    Yes my favorite thinner. I have not yet tried the Tamiya Acrylics, normally I don't sand the plastic the enamel paint bits nice, this was a redo and the prev paint was sanded, I use 2000 for a repaint, and 2000 on the primer if I spray it first. I will always prim if I'm using lacquer, find it covers nice.. Have a good one!

    So, if I understand you correctly, you put twice as much thinner in the last coat of paint as the first mix?

    I will add about .5 ml on the final coat to help level it better. you don't have to add anymore, more of a preference thing
