This is one of the fabrics in my stash I’ve been too scared to cut into! But now I’m excited to give it a go!

wow...this makes me feel good that I am not the only one who is scared to cut it! I purchased the fabric because I want to make my top but do not have courage to cut it! This video has inspired so many like us, isn't it?
Exquisite! Your experience shines through in everything you make, not least in planning the order of assembly. I particularly like the fact that you mostly favour attaching sleeves BEFORE sewing the side seams, so much better than “setting in” and stitching a circle. Also, as has been said before, it is so relaxing watching your channel - very good for the blood pressure.

Hi Sue, I could not agree more with everything you mentioned. Hope you have a lovely and safe weekend!
This is the best video I’ve seen how to sew mesh with a lining. Thank you so much ❤
Beautiful neat work, you are a pleasure to watch
Beautiful dress! I would have assembled in a different order, or so I thought. Then as you finished I could clearly see that your assembly order worked so well for French seaming. Lovely results and quality touches throughout. I also must mention your background music and the relaxing vibe of your videos. I so look forward to them all! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your work and inspiring us all! I will never again install a zipper without a facing 😊

Beautiful dress thank you
Hello......Thank you thank you thank you so much for your video. I am watching sewing videos sinc elong and never ever came across this type of video. Since last 3-4 months I purchased such embroidered mesh material and so much want to make my top but am scared to even start in order not to ruin my material by not sewing with right type of lining material and right type of interfacing. Really I had purcahsed the lining material but it is not satin and it is sort of lizibizy easy flowing material. But I now will go get satin fabric and start my top sewing project! Thanks so much!
o my gosh I am in shock-love with you, that fabric & the dress. What a sunshine to my morning-coffee

This means that this video is very recent. Wow, I cann't imagine how my guardian angel is helping me. I was searching for some guidance in making my the same type of mesh fabric as I am very scared to spoil with my lack of knowledge how to sew such material...and here it is! Exact same material and very helpful instructions to let me work on my dream project!
So beautiful! I have learned so much from watching your videos. I often rewatch and reference them when I get stuck. Thank you for giving of your time and talent!

yes, Melanie, I do the same. And I get references watching these videos to improve my skill and finishing touches. I really thank all youtubers uploading such useful videos.
I’ve had an eye on a similar embroidered mesh to that for ages, but had no idea how to sew it. I’m so glad you posted this, you’ve inspired me to give it a go. I can only hope it turns out half as well as yours did.
I love the dress!! ❤🤍💚 I've seen the material except it was black, in Joanne's Fabric. I love your channel and I'm always watching, hopefully I will become a master seamstress still a beginner.
Very nice tutorial!! Thank you!
I just discovered your channel and will be having a binge fest this weekend. Your skill is impeccable.
Thank you. I want to make a similar dress. Great info!
Stunning, as always! The fabric is the star of this dress, so the relative simplicity of the design is spot on. Awesome 😍
The dress is beautiful. I’ve been tempted with this fabric before but have avoided it as it looked a tricky sew. You’ve explained the techniques so clearly I know feel able to tackle it. Thank you 💕💕

same here! I have one such embroidered mesh top and I love it so much that when it started losing threads of the embroidery, I was looking for the same material so that I can make similar one. I still have not been able to find one. I was so much in love with this top that I fixed the embroidered design by hand embroidering the missing design on it.! I foudn little similar material exactly what here she has used, and I feel so scared to start as the fabric is not easy flowing like the one I have...and at the age of 70 if I wear the top where the upper one does not stay in place and look funny on me! But now I will get satin fabric to use as the lining material and confidently make my top.:-D
Suzanne, all of your makes are beautiful, but this one is spectacular! I absolutely love it.
I love the mesh fabric!
So cute!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Wow, you did a great job, very professional! Lovely dress and looks beautiful 😍
That is very helpful instruction. That dress is perhaps the most beautiful I have ever seen you make!
Love it! Just beautiful.
This is a beautiful dress! I love embroidered mesh and the belt was a perfect choice! Thank you for showing the process and that it’s not that difficult to layer fabrics. Thank you !
Absolutely lovely as always.
beautiful dress. are you attending a wedding to wear it. i think a rolled green hem at the bottom skirt would match the sleeves. you are such a wizzard at sewing. love it.
I used this fabric to make net curtains for my office. It was hell to work with. I’m very impressed with what you managed.
Simply gorgeous dress. So well done. I struggle with sewing silky fabrics and netting. You make it look so effortless. I’d love to know what size needles and stitch length you use on the more difficult fabrics. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Stunning!
How beautiful!!!!👏👏
This is such a beautiful dress!
Very cute dress
Brilliantly bespoke!

Very nice and I love it with the belt thank you
You have inspired me. I just don’t like the modern day designs. clothes I am going to start working on pattern drafting and Sewing. Thanks.
Thank you so much for this video! This is exactly the tutorial I’ve been looking for
Wow! I love how you did this dress. I have this exact same embroidered mesh fabric. I was going to use the Simplicity pattern with the slip dress but I truly like your way better. Then I don’t have to French seam all the seams with only the embroidered mesh fabric. Beautiful!!!
Such a beautiful dress and so well made. Looks fab on you. 👏
Absolutely stunning dress, wonderful to watch as always 🤗🤗🤗
Brillint. What a delightful piece of work 😀👏👏
I love this
Thank you for sharing your talents.
Thanks this what I really needed
I have just finished a similar dress thanks
Gorgeous
Good job 👍 ,lovely dress 😍
Lovely. I have 5 meters of a similar mesh I need to do something with. Your dress inspires me.
Very nice 👍❤️
Excellent video that is easy to follow. You speak clearly and take your time explaining each step. Beautifully finished dress that is stunning. Thanks for sharing. Hi from Australia 🐨 I liked and subscribed. 🌺
Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful. I made Simplicity 8545 with a net lace in a dark hue and separate petticoat. I have left over embroidered fabric and am keen to make your style dress Suzanne. Very motivating.
Your processes are so neat and well explained. Thank you very much for making this video. I subscribed even before I finished watching the video 😊
I am so happy to have found your channel! I have an embroidered fabric very similar to yours that I purchased several years ago. I love it so much but I have been afraid to cut into it. You have inspired me to make the dress!! Thank you so much!!

wow...this makes me feel good that I am not the only one who is scared to cut it! I purchased the fabric because I want to make my top but do not have courage to cut it! This video has inspired so many like us, isn't it? Me too, I will get the satin fabric , (I may have to use the previous lining material I purchased in some other stuff though! ) and venture to start on my dream project.
I can keep seeing the way you work for all my life! And the dress is gorgeous. I think you could have made ruffled sleeves so it looked more fresh. I use to do it because I think medium length sleeves are for aged women
Beautiful 🌹💝👍🏿
I love the way you make sewing looking so easy . I am so inspired to try. Where can I buy this pattern? . Also what website do you or anyone recommend I get fabric and notions ? Help please ! I am truly inspired! Sending you blessings to continue doing this!
What a lovely dress 💕 And so well explained 👌🏻 Thankyou. I have a question: which stitch do you use most often on your overlocker? When you stitch 2 pieces of fabric together?
Thank you indeed.
Couture!
Superbe robe bravo
Wow
Thanks Susannah, I love your style of vlog. What size and type of needle are you using? I use your way of assembling as it means I can adjust the waist and much easier to put zips in on the flat. Thanks again, Debbie x x
❤️❤️❤️
👏👏👏👏👏
You are so beautiful!)
I'm curious as to why you didn't finish the hem with the same rolled hem you used on the sleeves.
Couture sewing
please can you tell me why you used French seams and not overlocker....the dress is beautiful

I am just jumping in to answer this question as I, too, am trying to find out how to sew sheer fabrics and I learned that being very transperent material, the overlocking the edges would be noticeable easily killing the delicateness of the material. French seam would add beauty to the dress with neat finishing.
Thank you beutiful lady
I liked it to much. Where can I get the pattern?
🌞🌞🌞
Did you wash your embroidered mesh first and if so did you wash it by hand?
Hi you are so talented! What type of needle did you use?
