    Thank you for the support! Anki definitely helps with the other subjects mainly if you're having a hard time remembering concepts. However, we'd recommend starting Anki after you're finished your first round of content review, which should be dedicated to understanding the concepts and not memorization.

    I would disagree and use anki while going over concepts. That is exactly what we do in medical school. Is there a certain topic you are shaky on?

    Was it super time consuming to do the spreadsheet for questions you got wrong? Would up suggest creating a spreadsheet for wrong questions or making Anki cards for them?

  • @themedboys

    @themedboys

    Its very helpful to make those organized spreadsheets when you're reviewing your MCAT because it tells you exactly what your mistake is and you can always come back to it. However, like you said it is time consuming. I wouldn't recommend using Anki for that because it would arguably take longer to review those cards every single day. By all means, give both methods a try and see what works best for you. In our experience, being efficient with our time while creating the review spreadsheets is what worked best, over time the process became much faster. Hope it helps!

    @@strawberryy721 The good part about writing it down is that you are putting it in your own words, which means you also understand the concept better. Writing it in my own words naturally improved my memory for that concept. For this reason, I only reviewed my mistakes for a few days and it worked

    Scoring a 504 on your diagnostic without content review? Can you please explain how? Was this from retaining undergrad class material??

    That is the biggest thing. If you do well in undergrad and truly understand the material, as well as have a strong foundation in critical reasoning, you can preform well. I score 490 on diagnostic and hit 512 on exam day. Are you currently studying?

    Spending 1 hour per chapter is unrealistic in my opinion to truly take in the content, let alone 3 chapters per day. I often can't even get through 1 chapter a day. I admit I'm a slow reader, but still.

    Yes, you’re right, it depends on the person’s reading speed and how well they want to digest the information. One thing we recommend is not paying too much attention to the very specific details as that might help you get through it faster.
