    Hey Manik thank you so soooo much for these amazing tips, ur an angel seriously ❤ Quick question regarding random vs systematic approach. I've always had it confused and im finding a hard time focusing with random, however, i've seen some tutors say that if ur foundation isnt the best or if ur doubting whether ur foundation is good then systematic is the way to go since its about learning. So what do u think of this for someone who just managed an average score and is aiming for a 260 as an IMG. Maybe leaving around 60 Qs of each system to do random final run. If you or anyone with experience can help i would appreciate it, I hope u got the main idea of my question. Much love bro 🌺

    Hi Manik! Not sure if you will get to read this but I'm currently studying for my Step 2 CK and had a quick question about your UWorld method of tutor, timed, and random. I understand why timed and random, as well as the explanation for Tutor mode but I'm having trouble seeing how you use the Tutor mode while doing timed test. Do you read the whole explanation after each question, or are you just seeing if your answer is correct, or is it a combination of briefly skimming the explanation and moving on? THANK YOU SO MUCH for the information! It has been extremely helpful!

    Thank you so much for posting this video. This is super helpful. Would you say that even though the exam was vague that it was doable? If you don’t necessarily know what the question is talking about exactly can you use the test taking skills you mentioned to still get it down to two answer choices and still choose the right answer? Also what did you use to study for the ethics? I keep hearing a lot about Amboss

  • @manikmadaan

    @manikmadaan

    It's doable for sure. Test-Taking skills will help you eliminate answer choices using the question stems via clue and pattern recognition. However this takes a lot of practice, so do a lot of questions.

    Thank you so much for responding. I do have one last question, you spoke about the algorithms, are those charts in UW something we should memorize or will reading through the explanation to understand the why behind the concept more important than just memorizing random facts? This exam seems like it’s way beyond memorizing and more of applying conceptual knowledge and using test taking strategies.

    What do you think about using the Anking overhaul Anki deck instead of the Tzanki deck? At 5:50 is that what you were saying (that Anking is too much)? Thanks

    Anking is very comprehensive but time consuming for scoping step 2 ck. Tzanki is less comprehensive but more concise for the same.

    Did you go through all of Anking ? 44,000 cards is way too much. Is there a shorter Deck for step 2
