I hope it works for you. My husband has tons of colognes he no longer wears for that reason. They are perfect in the guest bathrooms.

Only came here to learn about how to take the perfume bottle top off but the diffuser that’s a pretty cool little hack to learn

Probably not. But you could probably replace with a new lid and sprayer.

It took time and a huge efforts but IT WORKS !!

It all depends on the cap itself and how careful you remove I'd suppose. I didn't open to reclose. If you want to reclose, maybe test on a bottle you plan to throw away.

Hello. I am a newbie perfumer learning a lot. I tried these and didn't work and did some research on this. Found out that perfume has completely different formula than the reed diffusers liquid. Perfumes have some molecules which can block the pores of the reed sticks. e:g Hedione and ISO e Super. I am no expert, but this was the reason it didn't work for me.

Perfume Alcohol will make it finished in 1 day. There are separate oils for reed diffusers

Yep true. Reed sticks probably won't work as they would dry out. My sticks are more like incense sticks and more absorbent which might be the difference. It still works but based on the crowd feedback some caveats to consider. It's definitely lasted a couple weeks for me, I've been doing for a few months now.

It depends on the scent and the room size. But you could dilute with water for sure.

I have some old Ralph Lauren bottles and I'm trying to get top off this is awesome just what I needed.

Maybe, but it depends on the bottle and how carefully you open. I never tried to reclose the bottles. I planned to throw away after opening. Good luck!

Will adding some pure almond oil to the perfume help prevent evaporation?

I would imagine if you can take it off safely you can change bottle or replace the nozzle...give it a try. Good luck
