My husbands a firefighter and I have had to learn how to do so many things solo with my newborn for 48 hours (up to 3 weeks eventually for wildland assignments) and you inspire me sooo much. I have been a sorry piece of work without nature but planning a VERY SHORT hike up in the sierras in a couple days to get back into things

I love your videos! I'm a first time mom and want to go hiking with my baby. You are my inspiration. I have anxiety to even to go to the mall lol. You’re not a Debbie downer at all! It’s so important to be prepared when going out with your kids. I think the first thing you can do is just look up the wild animals you could encounter in your area and how to best avoid them as well as what to do if you do encounter them I also talk to my toddler regularly about the wild animals and what to do if he were to see one and also why he needs to stay close to me
