Agreed. I personally sometimes only do goldfarming. And sometimes - only PvP or only PvE. To each their own.

To everyone talking about how you can just work for 20-60 mins and pay for the sub, don't forget: many people actually enjoy farming or playing the AH. It's not a chore, but rather the primary goal they play for. And also, there are people who play from poorer countries like India or Ukraine, from whom the sub cost is proportionally much higher. Or schoolkids whose parents don't want to give them money for WoW. If you have a high income and don't really like farming, there is no shame in paying for the sub with your bank card. But then, the question is, why click on that video?

Do you play WoW just to farm gold or do you do any other content? I think the problem with farming gold for a token is, that you have to sacrifice lots of your time to get that done. So there is less time for m+, raiding or any other content.

@@Studenalbatroz Yeah I feel you. For me its achievements and gold. But its pretty hard to play the normal content and farm enough gold without boosting players or having a giant alt army to be able to play for free. I might be wrong tho

@@Gigar0606 I only heroic raid, and hit ksh each season, but I got ksh week 3/4 and aotc week 3 after 1 reset. The rest of the season is just gold making because that is what I like

Studen, make other people jump to those realms, let's have Argent Dawn for ourselves! I jumped to AD back in Legion because of you and now that everyone is here, the prices are dogsh*t and have been so for years now... :) Totally worth it though, I love the sell rate and the community.

Yeah bro, nothing about this is free. Anyone that values their time knows this ain't free. It's called opportunity cost. You're paying for the game with time, that could otherwise be used to make money, and if we convert the gold you're making in that time to USD, it works out to be less than minimum wage, meaning basically everyone is better off just getting a job and paying for the game with real currency. Appreciate the info, but the title of the video should be "How I pay for WoW Using a Token." God, I can't imagine how tedious is it listing and relisting 3,000 plus auctions, especially with the buffering, heck it's not even a game anymore, it's a job in and of itself.

The point you are trying to make, makes sense if you don’t enjoy what your doing. It’s like stating netflix is $30 dollars an hour due to opportunity cost, as you could ve out there making money instead of watching netflix. The point here is obviously being able to play the game and make enough ingame currency to avoid spending irl currency. If you don’t enjoy goldmaking, that’s fine. But thats not the case for me, and a lot of other people. Your not stupid, so you do understand exactly what i mean in this video, but we are in year 2024, and people make it a daily quest to get offended on a daily basis. I agree with Studen. It's free as long as you enjoy it, because there is value in entertainment. Hence why people pay for things like games or movies. That's because they can convert the entertainment value they get into monetary value and decide whether what they are getting is more than what they are spending. And here, if he gets the token by playing the game and the entertainment he gets from the game is equal to or above the opportunity cost, then he most certainly gets to play WoW for free. Most people here are not farming gold because they have to in order to afford a WoW token. They do it because they love it.
