I love how flexible and practical this is. It's a reminder to look at what works for the child, the space, the living situation, rather than rigidly propagating one way of doing things. This is the type of content that makes mothers relax 😂, so thank you!

For sure! I got so many hand me downs that I haven't had to buy hardly any clothes for my son and he is 14 months old. I even gave so much of it away and still have more than we need.

Ok I really love how this is an example how you don’t need a big hime live clean minimalist life. The bigger the home, the more we want to buy to fill in. I’m literally trying to keep my appointment minimalist too and baby stuff.

Hi 🤭 my 14 month old child is our 3rd kid, and so we have very mich things from the older ones (clothes, toys, shoes ...) that was very hard to organise, but now we have a big cabinet, where I store it in boxes and find things easily. I just have one tip for the montessori way of present the toys. The Kids are more motivated to play with it, if it is not stored already solved, so we use tabletts where for example the puzzle is on it and the loose parts are besides it on the same tablett.

I needed this video to push me to organize my daughters room! She’s 15 months and our house is always WRECKED! It’s so refreshing to see someone with a smaller space like me and not a huge house with playrooms and closets. I don’t have a pantry either.. struggle is real! Organizing her stuff this weekend. Love your content!

Same! I've really found that toy rotation helps a ton for keeping things tidy. Instead of having all the toys out and ready to be played with I only give them like 10ish toys per week. At the end of the day cleaning up is a lot more manageable.

Thank you for this video! I am also interested in following Montessori with my baby boy and can’t have a separate playroom and I’ve been looking everywhere for closet “play area” ideas! Now I just need to clear the closet from all the things he has in there haha! I also love how minimal everything is it makes it seem more relaxing and stress free. Do you have any tips on keeping things minimal when family keep wanting to get things for your baby? Today I realized my 3 month old needs to move up to 6 month clothes and he’s only worn 1/3 of the newborn-3 month clothes he got! My MIL keeps getting him clothes (and toys) and it’s so overwhelming. I have only bought him one outfit myself and I’m not trying to be ungrateful but I wish so badly I could dress him how I like, without having drawers full of clothes and with neutral items I know I can keep to use with a future son OR daughter so I don’t have to constantly get rid of clothes. Not to mention it’s hard to match a dinosaur onesie with pants that have poop emojis all over them 🥴 I know they mean well, but how have you been able to keep things minimal when family wants to constantly get things for your child?

I think we have similar organization styles. I had basically the same thought process as you when organizing our 2000 sqft house with a toddler in mind. Baby #2 will be here in 3 months though so I'm reorganizing some things! I used to store the baby stuff in my (28 month old) son's room too, but I just moved a lot of that early stuff and pregnancy stuff to our master since that's where the baby will be for the first 3-6 months anyway. And I dedicated half of my sons dresser in his room to baby stuff for 6-18 months.

Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil ☺️🙏
