How I moved my craft room to my bedroom

I am sharing my process today of how I changed a bedroom in our rental house into my new craft space. I was tired of working in a very dark sad space in the basement! I spend mist of my day working on videos and projects and since we’re going to be here much longer than originally planned, I decided to move to a sunnier spot in the house. I hope I can give you some ideas or inspiration if you are thinking of moving your craft space. This move was definitely worth all the effort!!

I’ve tried to convince my husband to move our bedroom into the den so I could use it as my craft room…no go…the fact that the den is half the size of our current bedroom has nothing to do with it. 🤣. It’s looking great my friend. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

Bless your heart Marnell. My area is not nearly as large and still so discouraged and exhausted . We just took on too much at once. the kitchen guest bedroom n my craft room. And, in the mean time ive been diagnosed with another autoimmune disease where i am unable to absorb iron. I am not giving up however. Im pushing forward as im seeing progress finally as im begining to put things away. You have done so much i admire your courage and stamina. looking forwatd to getting in my garden as well. huge hugs Cheryl

Love it I have a thick book shelf and needed more shelves so I got my husband to cut them for me in half so instead of 2 shelves I have 4 now my diy wall unit
Hi Marnel, I can only imagine how tired you are---both physically & mentally. It will be a gorgeous functional space when you're done. It's a shame the repairs are taking so long you felt the need to set up another crafting area but all this setting up & organizing I'm sure is helping you figure out what works best for you. Heat the labels on your bins with hot air from a hair dryer and peel them off, it loosens the adhesive enough with the heat for you to peel.

So much light to make it cheerful also. Light is very damaging also, so maybe you should pull drapes whenever you are not working in your room? Our historical society learned about light damage the hard way. Blessings to you and stay safe.
