The reality is in Medical School there is A LOT of information to go through and lots of tests. You need to understand concepts and memorise facts (which at times will not makes sense with the volume of content you need to go through); hence, multiple techniques is useful. Also, effective studying varies with the subject

I'm not a medical student yet, but I'll be going to med school next year, and watching your video is such a relief, cause my cousins/friends (who are currently studying medical) always say that med school is tough and it's very hard to figure out a study pattern for yourself. Studying medical has always been my dream, but I was a bit worried about the studies, but this video is a motivation for me. THANK YOU. Love from PAKISTAN 🇵🇰

Used this for all my first year exams, first exams I’ve came out and felt confident!
I appreciate you! Even though I already graduated nursing school I still have the NCLEX and am still studying more then ever, this was perfect to keep me motivated that I can potentially get better grades if I implement these!
For the color technique (the second one) I started using it this year !! I used to highlight everything in that neon yellow highlighter (plus big title in pink) and let my brain do the job of separating/organizing informations. Now what i do is truly try to choose the best color for each chapter (it take more time but it’s totally worth it) for example, in the therapeutic strategy that’s used for prostate cancer, my chapter of hormone therapy was in green BUT : not only 1 type of green, but many shades (3 or 4 different highlighters, the moment I realized not all highlighters have the same shade of green was such a capital moment lol) so how I would use these shades is by highlighting different information according to their importance (the least important would be lighter) or by stack of theme (when it’s usually a very long paragraph where they talk about a variety of subjects for example they start talking about the name of the most used molecules, then how they work, then the sides effects, then what the recent researches are leading to.. each “theme” that I would highlight in a different shade) This technique helped me soooo much with my visual memory cause as you said colors are easier to recall than words

I just stumbled upon your channel... and I fell in love with the way you simplified the complexity of memorization into something fun and personal👍it's motivational. Thank you 😊
I’m starting med school in September and your videos have motivated me alot and now I can’t wait to try your techniques! Thank you🙏🏻❤️
For some reason almost all your videos motivate me to study. Being a med student myself makes these tips even more relatable. Thanks for the great tips.
The rule of opposites and relating real life examples are the ones which I have been using until now and it’s extremely useful.....glad that I came to know about others too which can be really helpful for my pre meds As always loved it❤️

Am starting Medicine at King's in a few months and your videos have been really helpful for planning my approach to studying. Despite being a fellow grad, I have never felt that comfortable with my learning approach so am really looking forward to trying out a lot of the methods you've suggested. Keep at it man!

These techniques are all so true! Glad I got to know all these beforehand 😂
I can't believe that I've just come across this video. I'm in my first year of grad school, and honestly thought I'll never be able to memorize large contents of information considering the rate at which my cohorts and I are learning. But seeing these tips is super helpful, and I feel encouraged and motivated to try this out in all of my classes now!
Hello ! It's great I got the same tips as you to help me memorize (I'm a first year), and I feel more "normal", 'cause I thought that most people were so smart that they are able to memorize black and white texts without even organizing that much… (but still I know there are some ppl like this)
Thanks for the useful tips! I use some of them when preparing my pharmacy exam and it really helps me memorize👍great video!

wowwww the colour technique is my fav. most of my study materials are in pdf format, and after I finish studying them, they look like a colour palette of some sort!! only I can understand and find important information from it!! it definitely takes more time, but totally worth it.
This really helped for vet school too, thank you! ❤️
i have and old techniques of memorizing human anatomy or pharmacology in other way like remembering a friend name and then making into some interesting sentences 💪..these really helps me a lot..
"...which you probably know is a manufacturer of drones" um. sir. We are not the same lmao
This is so useful. THANK YOU! 💗
I somehow find it sad just to study / memorize for exams :( and sentences like „1 month after the exam..“ means we forget the most things right after the exam because new stuff has to be memorized. There‘s something seriously wrong with the system .. :/

The system in no way is wrong...as students u have to understand the concepts first and foremost then you have to memorise the piece of concept to just present it in a good which will also help you in interviews. Also in my case i cannot memorise until and unless i understand the concepts. After that i just memorise as it is given in the textbook but the most important part is to remember the key words.

@@aankhisharma5324 No the system is indeed wrong ; i'm a high school graduate and the only thing i remember doing this past 12 years is memorizing for a certain exam just to get that A than forget everything few days after .. Do you call that learning ? and even if you understand the concepts , when are you gonna use them ? yea i definitly need to know that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell to apply to be an engineer lol .
