Hola, la palabra "huesudo" se usa mas para alimentos, por ejemplo: Esta costilla que compré esta muy huesuda (poca carne). Para referirse a personas y animales, decimos: flaco, raquítico o desnutrido. Estos últimos son muy ofensivos. Tambien se le dice a: 🍆 "El huesudo" (aunque no tenga hueso) 😂

I agree with you Veronica, for me the better way to learn English was reading articles about matters of may own interesting... totally agree about making cards engaging. Even though it takes longer initially, i always include a photo, audio, pronunciation and translation for all of my cards so that I retain them better. I even use memes or my own photos sometimes so that I can connect the words to something I'm already familiar with

Thanks for your help. I created my own flashcards, but I missed some pieces of paper. Currently, I have learned vocabulary through a flashcards app that it is effective to me, but I forget some words. I will create my own flashcards or I will apply my conversation and writing to what I have learned.

Thanks for sharing! You're practicing SRS too, just by creating your own flashcards and it can be super effective too! Anki just creates the algorithm for you so you don't have to spend so much time thinking what flashcards to revise.

Veronika, I see many flaws in using anki. I'm not gonna explain every single one of them (because this comment would become too long) so I'm just gonna criticize the 3 main flaws of your video: 1) first of all, you're wasting your time learning inflected words like "huesudo". Instead, you should only learn lemmas (a.k.a root words), like "hueso", so you'll grasp the meaning of the word "huesudo" through grammar (the suffix -udo is a grammatical resource to transform a noun into an adjective, like the words huesudo, cornudo, peludo, desnudo, mudo, testarudo, agudo, crudo, etc. It works the same way as the suffix -ny in english, like skinny, brainy, shiny, etc). Through grammar, you can multiply your vocabulary by several orders of magnitude, so you should be learning how inflexions work instead of revising thousands of pointless inflected words. Restrict your vocabulary acquisition to just one word per lemma (usually the most common inflection of that lemma). 2) The anki's algorithm was created to memorize isolated pieces of information, like countries and their respective capitals. If you learn words within a sentence with a given context, once you look up the definition of that word in a dictionary the context of the future sentences in which you'll come across that word again will be enough to make you understand the meaning 95% of the time, because the sentence will be a trigger for the word's meaning, so you don't have to restrain yourself to a fix review schedule programmed by the anki's algorithm, you can just note down 2 or 3 example sentences for every new word you learn in a google doc and review that doc periodically in a haphazard frequency, using your own judgement, because there's almost 100% chance you'll remember the meaning of the word when you read the sentences, no matter when you review it 3. You said you can limit your reviews to a limited amount of time, like 20 minutes a day. But if you do that, then you're not following the anki's ideal algorithm, then what's the point of using anki in the first place? If you're gonna do your reviews on your own customized schedule, there's literally no point in using anki, you can just add your new words to a google doc. The point of anki is to use its supposed "magical" "forgetting-proof" algorithmical schedule (which, as I said earlier, it's unnecesary for learning words within sentences with a clear context). If you follow your own schedule, using anki to store your words in is nonsense
