    Hey my favorite girl I have a question. I have the round 8oz tin and the 2oz tin. Do I have to test all the fragrance oil inside the 2oz tin as well even though they both the same tins but different size. I know I have to test for wick sizes but do I have to test the oils to.

  • @ParisNikkole

    @ParisNikkole

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hey girl, hey! LOL! I would say yes, you have to test the fragrance oil in both size tins because the wax to fragrance ratio is different for each size. So for the 2oz tins your fill rate may be 80g of wax so for a 10% fragrance load that will be around 7g of fragrance oil but with the 8oz tin (which has a 5oz fill rate) you will need 160g of wax and 14g of fragrance oil for a 10% fragrance load. However, you may find that 10% is too much for the 2oz tin and you may want to scale it down. So, you don't need to test every fragrance oil you have in the tins but I would test a very lightly scented fragrance and a strong fragrance because you may need more or less depending upon the potency of the fragrance oil. Hope that makes sense. As always, thanks for watching love! ❤️❤️❤️

    @@ParisNikkole thank you so much my love. I know the wax amount will be different for sure but I really wanted to know will the same amount of fragrance load will perform in the 2oz without having to see how all of the fragrance oil will perform. I also soon bigger tins like 12 or 14oz tins. Will I have to test all the oils again in the same tin but different size.

    I use .02 or .03. I also use the whisper wicks and the booster wicks. For some reason the lighter wooden wicks work better with some fragrances and the darker wood works better with others. Not sure why but that is why I do extensive testing.

  • @ParisNikkole

    @ParisNikkole

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey! Thanks so much! 😊 So, the tin is actually larger than 5oz but the suggested max fill rate is 5oz to prevent overflow. I go over the 5oz fill rate a little but not too much. I have found that 160 g wax and 14 g of fragrance oil is the PERFECT formula! See specs for tin below: Size: 3.5" w x 2" h Weight: 0.15 lbs Suggested Wax Fill: 5 oz Overflow Fill: 6.5 oz
